> 3 dayGot these when the price mysteriously dropped to $8-9. At that cost, the poor seal and excessive number of tubes were not so big an issue. I would NOT but them at a dollar a piece... Got the stainless steel test tube holder by heath scientific? And that keeps all the tubes in check without too many extra spaces.

> 3 dayI have the API Freshwater Master Test Kit, which comes with 4 test tubes. I do test for all five parameters on my potentially overstocked tanks before and after water changes. Having these extra test tubes makes it easier for me as I do not have to wash out my test tubes as I am conducting my testing on my tanks. Also, I have a before and after standard available to me for straight comparison. I tried using various vials and such (free stuff) to do my water tests, but the colour comparison with the API chart is best visible using API standardized test tubes. I would recommend that every aquarist/fishkeeper get themselves a set of these test tubes. Makes life a lot simpler.

> 3 dayI brake these tubes all the time and getting 24 was a great investment. I purchased a 50 test tube rack at the same time and this has reduced my accidental breakage greatly. The plus side with the rack I set up all my 3 tanks tests at one time in the same order and have made testing more efficient.

> 3 dayGreat API tunes with caps and they’re only like $0.50 each! But for some reason, someone decided to just put the thin cardboard box in a bubble envelope and send it next day, one tube arrived broken.

Greater than one weekMaster kit comes with the tubes, but I seem to break them every time.

02-06-2025Because, you know, you might have broken a few. Much better deal to get the pack than a 3 or a 6.

Greater than one weekThe picture is not what I got. What I got was the API testtubes which I am happy with. They are the exact same that came with all the API tests that I already have. And to make your life easier if you have a bunch of these get one of these: Karter Scientific 208V2 Plastic Test Tube Rack for 12/13mm Tubes, Holds 50, Detachable Its a perfect fit.

> 3 dayNice. Same as the originals. I wish they sold boxes of 5 or 10 but I am pleased about them anyway

> 3 dayI had a hard time getting my biofilter started. I had to buy the API test hit with the tubes and had broken two tubes and basically, you need 5 tubes to do all the tests.

> 3 daySad these are offered in such a large quantity but luckily I have lots of tests to do. At $0.50 a pop, not exactly cheap but the best price per unit i can find. They leak when shaken, a common thing for water tests. Not good when shaking corrosive chemicals. They do break as theyre small and glass, but not entirely frail like grandmas fine wine glasses. The caps pair nicely (minus the leaking) and the tubes can be stood up on their ends. These are OEM, come with the 5mL markings, caps, and everything, but are a bit pricey. Also they leak. Honestly a big turnoff for API tubes.
