Greater than one weekNot heavy enough for 55 gallon tanks, floats to the top. Even if buried in sand would not recommend for anything over 30 gallons

> 3 dayUsing two of these as the primary filtration in a 75G lightly stocked mbuna tank. Im replacing 5 years old filters of the same style. They have been very effective at keeping my water clean and provide plenty of surface area for biological filter.

10-06-2025This product is a great. Great value, great bio-filtration. What else could you ask for? Im very picky about what goes into my tanks and I would suggest these to my professional friends.

Greater than one weekFirst of all,For a 25 gallon tank, the weighted base that comes with this filter is heavy enough to keep it down. So be prepared to weight it down using other methods. Filtration is good, bubbles okay, and the noise level of the filter is also good.

> 3 dayWish the riser tub was a bit longer. The Design would need modification to allow for an airstone. Happy overall with my purchase.
