> 3 dayIm pretty happy with the price and the outcome. I put 2 of these in the back of my 24x24x24 60 gallon cube. Note: This sponge filter will not operate without a bubbler. So far its filtering pretty well. It managed to filter the debris in the front of the tank over night with one bubbler connected to 2 sponges set to half strength. The betta girls are pretty happy with this filter and relax in the front of the tnak. The veiltail cherry barbs enjoy playing in the bubbles.

Greater than one weekI think a course sponge would be better, perhaps a little bit more weight.

> 3 dayGreat for filtering tanks. Just hook up a air line, stick it in and let it cycle. I like to keep these on hand for new tanks and even have some in a fish bait tank that keeps minnows alive. These filters last forever and work so much (IMO) better than most of the hang on back filters that are available.

> 3 dayNo longer pay for expensive filter systems. I have 120 gallons, 75 gallons tank and 80 gallons pond. They work good and easy to clean.

> 3 dayDidnt like how hard it is to hide is why its missing a star. Other than that they ACTUALLY work! The only sound is the same as air stone bubbles(if installed using an air stone). If not it will sound like if you put just an air tube in the bottom of tank with no stone on the end. Overall theyre VERY affordable, collected a ton of waste, and only takes a cpl minutes to ring it out and put it back in the tank!
