> 3 dayThe stand of this bio filter which uses for holding the sponge is too light. It can’t hold and make the sponge sink. I had to use stones to cover and make it sink. This product is not a good quality. I would not recommend to buy it

08-06-2025Have had 6 of these running for some time now, and imo, they simply are not permeable enough to get sufficient water flow through them to sustain necessary bacteria. Others Ive had have worked much better and developed colonies of bacteria that help clean the water, and these just arent after many months.

> 3 dayIt does what it is supposed to do. Great value and quality. I adapted them with air stones for finer bubbles. I recommend these without reservation.

> 3 dayNeeds a better design and a weight, It floats even when I try to put gravel and sand around it. I have a competitors sponge filter and love it. This one just isn’t going to cut it.
