I’ve been using these filters for a long time. Received 2 packs with order (of course this is after return window)... not sure what the problem was but the 2nd package did not work well, I’ve gone through about 2-3 a week and the tank isn’t dirty. The filter quality on the 2nd pack resulted in spill over and too much for my betta. Good thing I work from home and could here the dripping. She was at the bottom because she didn’t like the spill over after a day. So, I’m out of what I thought was a stock up of filters. So irritating, they must have been old or defective. Fish owners are meticulous and we don’t appreciate poor quality from a brand we expect to trust. I wouldn’t order through this seller. Pay a little more so your entire pack of filters lasts AALAKAY promised on the package.

I have not been able to find this product any cheaper. It works well with my beta tank. I change it every two-three weeks, but I am sure you could keep it in longer.

Great price but I hate how often they need changed. I deducted a star because this filter sometimes washes water over it, instead of through it, before it needs changed.

I got these for half of what they cost in the pet store. Im not sure why theyre the same price as the much larger filters that have twice the materials and carbon in them. Either way, the filters keep my tank clean, and only need to be replaced about once a month. I will buy them again from here and save big.

I do wish these filters had a little more carbon in them. When you pull one out of the package, you can see that there are empty sections where where water will get through without being filtered. They work well for catching leftover food, waste, and any chunks that contaminate the water. I would not trust this thing to filter my drinking water, but its meant for an entry-level type of aquarium, which is exactly what I have. Its great getting 12 filters for this price, and that allows me to change them pretty frequently. The filters are very easy to insert and remove using the tab on the side. I like to churn up the water and rocks before I change the cartridge, so that the food and waste on the bottom of the tank get sucked up by the filter onto the old cartridge before I take it out. I have the Minibow 1 Gallon Aquarium, which comes with their QuietFlow filter system. While the tank is very small, its a great starter set, especially for the price. In the future Im probably going to upgrade to a larger/fancier tank.

Works fine the other fish died not as much to filter
