Aqueon (2 Pack) Minibow Replacement Filter Cartridge Size Small (6 Cartridges Per Pack / 12 Total)

Received this product, directly from Aqueon. While everything fits fine, and cleans the water one would think the filter itself would be thicker. Its a design issue, not quality. The entire filter is 1/8-1/4 inch thick. Considering the cost per unit, if they would either put more mechanical filter material or charcoal or both. There is plenty of room in the stock filters using this filter cartridge to allow for more, which would make me feel like I was getting my moneys worth. I am considering using a foam filter block instead, which can be rinsed out, and reused. Greener, and a lot less expensive.

It would be better if the replacement filter could turn around

I am confused. The packaging said it has 6 packs, but the listing of the item stated 4. I thought it was 4x6 packs and thought this is really valuable, but ended ip what I got is a pack of 6. Although it is somewhat a fair price, but I felt like I was tricked.

I am so disappointed in these filters. I just received them March 7. I ended up needing to do complete watwr changes twice now in my two tanks. One 1gal, one 2.5. I am on the 6th filter already. No joke. 3 each tank. I only have one pack left. I thought I bought enough for 6 months. Very low quality making the tanks cloudy and within a day the water goes over the overflow side instead of through the filter. I rinsed as directed. I have even rinsed them each day. Very little carbon in these. I have not had this problem with prior filters. Even sponger type i purchased at a grocery store I cut to fit worked better and lasted more than a month but I purchased these thinking using the same brand as tanks would be bettee. I was wrong. I would give 0 stars if there was an option due to wasted my money. Also I ordered in plenty of time to receive 2 day shipping, but it was 5 days instead.

Bought these to use in the filter on my 1 gallon aquarium. They are much easier to use than the kind you have to fill yourself and the price is right.

I got a mini bow fish tank that came with a separator for my two betas. Work great in my small fish tank.

Bought the 2-pack and only 1 pack was shipped. The bag that it was delivered in says THIS IS A SET. DO NOT SEPARATE but was separated anyways. The bag was opened and taped close (not the delivery bag).

I am tired of changing those filters. they hardly serve for two or max three days when the brochure says much more. it is obvious anyway form the amount of charcoal inside not covering the whole filter surface and if it is a problem of shipment i.e. moving the powder then the finishing is wrong and not efficient. I am not ordering this product again and I might really go back to my local shop.
