I am tired of changing those filters. they hardly serve for two or max three days when the brochure says much more. it is obvious anyway form the amount of charcoal inside not covering the whole filter surface and if it is a problem of shipment i.e. moving the powder then the finishing is wrong and not efficient. I am not ordering this product again and I might really go back to my local shop.

Bought these to use in the filter on my 1 gallon aquarium. They are much easier to use than the kind you have to fill yourself and the price is right.

Great price but I hate how often they need changed. I deducted a star because this filter sometimes washes water over it, instead of through it, before it needs changed.

Received this product, directly from Aqueon. While everything fits fine, and cleans the water one would think the filter itself would be thicker. Its a design issue, not quality. The entire filter is 1/8-1/4 inch thick. Considering the cost per unit, if they would either put more mechanical filter material or charcoal or both. There is plenty of room in the stock filters using this filter cartridge to allow for more, which would make me feel like I was getting my moneys worth. I am considering using a foam filter block instead, which can be rinsed out, and reused. Greener, and a lot less expensive.
