Arb compressor is known for its durability and quality. I bought the single compressor for my 2019 4runner. Installation process was not so easy but i watched enough youtube videos prior to actual installation. The compressor fills up my 265 70/17 tire from 18psi to 35psi under 2 minutes. The only disappointment is that the compressor came in beat up box that looks like someone dropped it and wrap again. Everyrhing inside was ok and new.

Installed under the passenger seat in my Jeep JL. Works great for quickly airing up tires but won’t run air tools without a tank

This is probably the best on board air compressor you can find on market. It is really powerful even for ait tools. Yes you need to have certain skills to install it. Can be use for air horn, locking differential, adjusting wheels pressure for different off road condition.

Perfect for larger tires. Buy once/cry once. This is my third (and final) air system. I wish I did this originally. Maybe learn from my experience?

Yet another high quality product from ARB. The performance has exceeded my expectations by a lot. After a year, my follow up: I was a little disappointed to find out this compressor is made in China. But the performance is rather incredible. I actually did an experiment to put some numbers to it. Keep in mind, the low tire pressures I run help the performance. I run a 38 x 13 Super Swampers TSLs at 4 PSI when Im off-road. On rare occasions I need to run on the road, so I like to air up. This compressor will take these big tires from 4 PSI to 11.5 PSI in exactly 30 seconds. Im airing up 4 tires in 2 minutes.

This compressor is highly thought of, but I found several issues that I would not expect in a high end product: 1) The housing at the outlet port appears to be made of cast aluminium, and cracked causing a huge air leak. 2) The steel shroud protecting the outlet side of the compressor unnecessarily interferes with the installation of a fitting to the outlet port. 3) The electrical connectors connecting the wire loom to the compressor are difficult to lock. On the positive side, this compressor fits into small spaces, and is pretty easy to install. I am exchanging the compressor for a replacement, and will update this review if necessary after I receive the replacement. UPDATE, FEBRUARY 8, 2018: I have received and installed the replacement compressor. Sexton accepted the faulty compressor back with no hassle whatsoever. Given the good response, I have upgraded my overall rating from 3 to 4 stars, For those thinking about running any sort of air tools from this compressor, you will definitely need an air tank. Dont count on more than a 20% to 40% duty cycle as this compressor cant keep up with any more. This is not a fault, this compressor does everything that it was designed to do. It is fine for inflating tires, air mattresses, etc. I am able to run a pneumatic impact wrench in short bursts to remove lug nuts with the addition of a small (500 ml) air tank. Overall, I would buy this compressor again.

Great compressors, works very well, good amount of power... but I think ill go for the dual next time for the better duty cycle.

First, if I could give it 6 stars, I would. Before the nitty gritty details get fleshed out, you will love this compressor. Set up: it is very important to spend time to choose a location in/on your vehicle that is cool and within your skill set. If you choose the rear of your vehicle you will need large Guage battery wire to add onto the supplied wire (which is more than long enough for installation in the engine bay). If you choose to run the switch into your dash you will need to prepare, find two connections (an ignition source and power source). This means you need to have adequate skills to run wires through the firewall, find and splice wires, and cut an opening to mount the switch. Do yourself a favor: be prepared with a plan before you begin installation. Connections: I chose to keep the switch and all components in the engine bay, as seen in the picture. That said, Jeeps have gigantic engine bays. I used a fuse add a circuit. It cost $10 at Autozone and it took about 3 minutes to connect. I would recommend the same approach if you choose to install into the dash, it is that easy. Mechanical connections; it comes with all you need to set up but you will to buy the specific pieces you need for your setup (again, PLAN ahead). Use: I have 31 tires. It took me longer to let air out than the compressor did to inflate them. I aired down to 10psi then inflated to 45psi, it was done in about 10 minutes. Get yourself a Guage pressure tool and you will cut at least 1 minute off. In that ten minutes the compressor reached a few hundred degrees ( I know because I accidently touched it, big dummy). So, again, find a cool and open location. I am seriously amazed. The finished installation runs around $300, depending on your custom setup. For an inexpensive option this tool is well built and performs its given function quite well. I want one for each of my other vehicles. Buy it, NOW.

Solid quality ARB product. With the help of YouTube it was an easy install. Be aware I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler and the two rear mounting screws were too long as the vast majority of Jeep mounts sit right on top of the brake booster. Ended up taking them out. It sits nice and tight with just the two front screws torqued. Wired it to my sPod, no electrical issues and does not draw a ton of power. Fills up tires quickly. I am running 305/70R18s and went from 20 to 38 psi in just under two minutes.
