> 3 dayI have been using Arches for about 6 months after my art teacher insisted I left the cheaper papers behind me. I thought it was a teachers speech but she was so right. I started with arches cold press and immediately my work improved. I love texture so the hot press did nothing for me and I was happy with the cold press until one day I decided to try the rough....and I L-O-V-E it. I still go back to cold press sometimes (I have about 4or 5 books in my reaerve) but more and more I find myself painting in the rough.

Greater than one weekIt was actually less rough than I expected and I was able to get interesting brush strokes on the paper. More so than Cold Pressed. It will not be my goto paper but when I want more textures, Rough workd great.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite watercolor paper. It is sturdy enough to really saturate and I don’t tape it down but hold it up and let the water and paint flow where I want it to go. It has a nice surface texture gives very good textures when used dry. It is less expensive than 300 pound which I also like, but can be taped down with good results.

> 3 dayGreat quality rough watercolor paper. Watercolor goes on easily and flows into the crevices well. Will buy again.

> 3 dayI love arches. I am afraid to use any other paper. This is the first time I have tried the rough paper. I love it.
