> 3 dayThis is my favorite watercolor paper. It is sturdy enough to really saturate and I don’t tape it down but hold it up and let the water and paint flow where I want it to go. It has a nice surface texture gives very good textures when used dry. It is less expensive than 300 pound which I also like, but can be taped down with good results.

> 3 dayI have been using Arches for about 6 months after my art teacher insisted I left the cheaper papers behind me. I thought it was a teachers speech but she was so right. I started with arches cold press and immediately my work improved. I love texture so the hot press did nothing for me and I was happy with the cold press until one day I decided to try the rough....and I L-O-V-E it. I still go back to cold press sometimes (I have about 4or 5 books in my reaerve) but more and more I find myself painting in the rough.

> 3 dayLove Arches paper, good quality and product, started painting with a cheaper watercolor paper and now have started using this and love how the paper adds to refinement to my work.

> 3 dayThis paper is rough and forgiving. I can erase with water, let dry, and paint again. It blends colors well. ABOSOLUTE FAVORITE!

> 3 dayTakes watercolor nicely. The rough surface allows you to use more water without warping the paper.
