This is my favorite watercolor paper. It is sturdy enough to really saturate and I don’t tape it down but hold it up and let the water and paint flow where I want it to go. It has a nice surface texture gives very good textures when used dry. It is less expensive than 300 pound which I also like, but can be taped down with good results.

Perfect for a series of plein aire landscapes Im working on.

Takes watercolor nicely. The rough surface allows you to use more water without warping the paper.
