I received the product promptly and followed the manufacturers application suggestions as discussed on the Artic Silver website.I am running an Intel 3570k processor with a Cooler Master 212 Evo and idle temperatures are averaging 34 degrees C during the break in period. Very satisfied with the results.

Excellent. Helped bring down Temps from 88C to 53C with new fan install for a I7 10700K.

Good quality thermal paste, used it for repair on some game consoles and so far they all stay at a good operating temperature with no issues

Absolutely necessary when you put a heat sink on a chip. Dont use the old stuff from the original assembly.

Used this to replace the thermal paste on an Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3. Noticed there was little to no paste left on the CPU (and even heat sink), resulting in temps upwards of 85-90C under heavy load (35-40C when idle) with a slow cooldown time. After applying this Arctic Silver thermal paste, temperatures returned to a more normal 50-60C under heavy load (25-30C idle; and it cooled down at a quicker rate). Would easily recommend Arctic Silver over any other for thermal pastes/compounds!
