Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

This product has received great reviews and I thought I might try some. Works great in a computer build that I made using parts from an old quad core HP that was just sitting around the house. Do recommend for first time computer builders.

A friend of mine serviced my 4 year old laptop, which was overheating way too much, and changed the (awfully eroded and cheap) original paste with this. And I must say, it the best! I have a Toshiba Satellite with a Turion x2, and it got to the point where the cpu reached 67 celsius on idle, but now it doesnt get past 48-49 while coding, watching videos and multitasking. I really recommend it!

This paste has served me well for the past 6 years worth of computer building. Ive built at least 6 different computers, and this paste worked great at keeping temperatures below 45C idle, 80C load with stock coolers.

I have sworn by this stuff ever since i started building computers. it has proven performance, and only gets better the longer you use it.

From what Ive read, the Arctic Silver compound will get you a degree or two lower for a fan cooled solution. I used the paste with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo on top of a Core i5 4690K for my latest gaming build. The paste was easy to apply, and my CPU is running as cool as expected with a mild overclock. Not much more to say. This product is legendary for a reason. It is a staple for enthusiast builders. Get it.

Keeps my cpu very cool

A product you cant go without if youre a PC gamer or PC enthusiast! It cools very well and provides stable temps even when your CPU is enduring intense gaming. Make sure to buy this with the ArctiClean 1 and 2 cleaning kit, especially of youre installing a new CPU cooler.

My custom CPU cooler came with some thermal paste, but it wasnt labeled so I used this instead. Works as expected.

This is not a product review so please dont take it as such. Ive used Arctic Silver before at a friends suggestion and havent been disappointed. A 3.5G tube of this stuff should last quite a long time if properly applied. The tube I bought recently from this seller lasted one application and is now nearly empty, the plunger almost at its lowest point. The tube came in a plastic baggie which Im sure is not how it came from the manufacturer. I dont see any reason it would need to be removed from that packing so it can be sold again. I dont have proof, but given how long the other tube I had of the exact same size I can only assume it was tampered with before ending up being purchased by me. I will avoid this seller like the plague and suggest you do the same.

Wow, just wow! This is a fantastic product, with very fast delivery. No apparent problems. I had to buy this because I was a noob while building my computer and used up all of the stock thermal grease.
