As ordered. Appears to be real. Even with out the breaking period complete, and the stock heat-sink and fan. It keeps the most powerful Core 2 Duo chip ever made at stable temps under load. Core 2 Duo E8600 @ 3.33 Ghz, 1333 Mhz FSB, 6MB cache.

What more can I say. It squirts where pointed. It spread out as squished. Is it better than the paste that came with my cooler? I cant say. I had to remove the cooler multiple times to debug a problem, which turned out to the the MB. It was obvious each time that the paste was evenly distributed on the CPU.

I used this on an old launch PS3 probably two years back to try and help with an overheating problem. It definitely helped and the machine ran much smoother than before I reapplied the thermal paste, the stuff Sony used was pretty bad. The PS3 still gave up a few months later but I this did help extend the life of the machine a bit.

Ordered this, a motherboard, and a cpu.... thermal came with both motherboard and cpu. Now I have 2 thermal pastes and 1 half empty.

I love this stuff, use it every time. Ive always wanted a larger container of it though. Priced like gold darrnit ... :-)
