Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Some of the best stuff on the market, I use it on everything from my cpu to graphics cards to motherboard heat sinks.

Havent used it yet b/c the liquid CPU cooler had pre-installed thermal paste, but it sits in my drawer super nice.

Ive used Arctic Silver 5 for years. Ive used it on both OEM machines and custom builds. This product does not fail, in my opinion. If youre building a computer or using it to replace the old thermal compound on an OEM machine, I highly suggest you purchase this product.

The paste was useful - my son needed it to make some minor repairs on my laptop.

I bought this compound as a just in case scenario in the event my fat 80GB PS3 ever died due to overheating (RLOD). Well, after a year of having this compound it finally came to good use. I followed a youtube video on how to safely take apart my PS3, remove the old compound from the CPU and GPU, clean them, heat the motherboard and reapply the compound paste. Everyone uses the Radio Shack version and some had problems reoccuring between a couple of hours to a couple of days. I tried looking for a better compound and stumbled upon this one on Amazon since it had a lot of great reviews. Worked great for me so far. This paste is a lot thicker then the watered down Radio Shack compound and seems like it will deviate heat away from the CPU and GPU. Its a dark gray colored thermal compound as opposed to the standard white thermal compound that is originally used on the PS3. Ill be placing another order of this thermal compound to have on hand again. If I ever need to use it I will repost the length of time my PS3 lasted using this product. Recommended.
