Applied to a Ryzen 7 5700g roughly 4 weeks prior to this review. CPU temps have been normal.

This is simply a must for system builders who are devoted to the best results! I might also add that Ive been building high-performance PCs for many years and have found that this really does produce the best heat transfer temps for CPUs, APUs & GPUs... Best way to apply is a small amount on either heatsink or processor (whichever is smallest), then in a circular fashion, using a very clean finger, spread compound evenly over entire surface, taking care to NOT use too much, just enough to spread under pressure so entire contact surface is covered... I know a lot of guys think it best to put a dot and trust the pressure of heatsink will spread it. While this is true some of the time, it is NOT always true and you want to be sure, especially if you are building your own rig... obviously, clean up finger well afterward before consuming your favorite pizza (or whatever...)

This is the reference standard for heatsink compound... Thats why there are so many reviews. If you are ordering parts to build a new PC (or rebuilding an old PC), you need this stuff when you install the CPU heatsink. Some heatsinks will come with some similar heatsink compound... clean it off and use this instead.

Seems to be better quality than others I have used. Thicker coverage as well. Thanks.

The title says it all, one of the best thermal pasts on the market for a great price. I run a computer shop and go through like a tube every 2 weeks so this stuff comes in handy all the time. My go-to for thermal paste.

We Artic Silver product on all of our cpu/gpu reflow repairs on game consoles and laptops.

Thermal compound is necessary to create a reliable transfer of heat from your computer"s processor to its heatsink to keep your CPU from overheating. Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound does this with three unique shapes and sizes of pure silver particles to maximize particle-to-particle contact area and thermal transfer. It"s optimized for use between modern high-power CPUs and high-performance heatsinks or water-cooling solutions. This 12-gram tube contains enough compound to cover at least 50 small CPU cores, or 20 large CPU cores, or 7 to 15 heat plates.
