High quality thermal compound helps keep my cpu chilly. But i will say this amount is way too much if youre jist building a singular pc

Thermals are important. When I first built my PC Two years ago i used the thermal paste provided with the cooler. Just refurbished my setup with a newer cooler and decided to go with arctic silver and I am amazed at how well it disperses the heat. Running AMD products things get hot. Went from 60C to 35C at idle. Hardly break over 65C while under load now.

We Artic Silver product on all of our cpu/gpu reflow repairs on game consoles and laptops.
