The post where you screw in the camera began to rust after the first few months. I would have thought all Netgear products would be made of quality material due to their good reputation and prices.

This is a good metal mount, but I think too expensive for what it is. And for this price it should also have something to help protect the camera from being stolen. Provide a slip collar or something for the thumb nut where it attaches to the camera.

The Arlo mount coupled with the Wasserstein weatherproof cable is the perfect combination to achieve a endless power supply. The plastic nut on the mount fits perfectly with a cable plugged in. This is ideal for my commercial application. I can increase sensitivity on both the video and sound without having to worry about draining the battery from all the recordings. Very happy with this product. Also, just want to mention, i have cheaper off brand mounts at my home that work very well. However those cameras are not plugged in 24/7.

Their newer (and more expensive) models probably perform better. Ive found these minimally satisfactory for my front yard. The motion detection functions slowly and the infrared lighting is practically worthless at night. Battery life is OK, but seems to drop from 90% to zero practically overnight.

this is exactly what we needed for outdoor mounting. Our camera set came with 3 camera but only one of these mounts (the other 2 were more for indoor use). This allows us to mount the camera strategically and still allow easy access to remove for battery charging

Holds camera in place. Easy to adjust.

The posts are great, made of metal. However, the screws are cheap and will strip the head with any resistance.

I really like the idea but it does not catch all the movement that goes buy. Bummer.
