No locking mechanism so any thief that realizes this thing is just held on with a giant wingnut can just unscrew it and run off with your $150 camera. Good job NETGEAR.

Overall, Arlo is a solid system and a great improvement over the old vuezone. The video quality of the cameras is pretty good, although at times there can be some buffering issues and the play back can be a little spotty. The biggest issue we have is when downloading videos the videos do not include a time stamp. I look forward to that issue being fixed in the near future. I wouldnt hesitate buying the system again.

OEM. DO NOT BUY ANY OTHERS. These will not move or rust. Like new after a year outside. I bought others that are not OEM. They loosen up and RUST!

I love the Arlo system - such an improvement over vue zone! Good, cheap (relatively) way to monitor your home and loved ones. Its nice that other family members can log in and check on things for you.

Good Product.

The battery typically lasts about a month or longer between charges. After a year the battery is completely drained, it will not take a charge. Very disappointed when we rely on this camera for security. Also updating the firm ware is a challenge. After searching though a number of posts I found others having the same problem. We never did get the firm ware updated. In hind-sight, I would have preferred a hard-wired camera and never have to worry about recharging batteries or buying a replacement battery for $50.00.
