Works well with Arlo Pro, easy installation

Not a fan of the Arlo branded Indoor/Outdoor mount. The way its designed made it much harder to install than it should be. The column gets in the way when trying to use a power driver (necessary when mounting into a brick wall) so was impossible for me to get it mounted successfully. Probably would be fine if youre mounting with a manual screwdriver. I was much happier with the 3rd party VideoSecu universal mounts and theyre over 50% cheaper than this mount.

This review is for the table/ceiling mount. I need to put my Arlo pro camera on the countertop but the counter top is not high enough so I bought the table mount. First of all, this mount is really expensive. I did some research and there is an alternative at Amazon that cost much less but looks similar to the Netegars version. However, there are some reviews for the cheap version that it is not good for Arlo pro. I thought there might be some quality issue with the cheap version. So I paid a full price for Netgears version and hoping it would work better. I was wrong. Once mounted, the camera will keep dropping slowly. While the camera pointed at the top of the door at the beginning, it pointed at the middle of the door 12 hours. Obviously the magnetic force is not strong enough to hold in position. So here is my conclusion: it might be good for standard Arlo camera, it is not good for Pro, which is heavier.
