> 24 hourI was needing a new laptop for work purposes and purchased this one, as it had the minimum requirements needed for my job and was able to arrive before the start of the new week. I had an Asus when I was in college, so I thought this would be a good buy. However, upon opening the package and beginning to set it up, it would not boot up. It immediately froze on the startup Asus screen. After nearly an hour, I attempted to reboot it, only for it to freeze again on the Asus screen with the additional message “Preparing Automatic Repair.” Ummm.... why would a brand new laptop straight out of the box need to do a repair?!?

> 24 hourI was really enjoying my new computer. It was running smoothly and meeting all my basic/work needs. I generally only run a web browser with a few tabs and some subtitle editing software for work. However, after only a month of use it now just randomly shuts down every few minutes making it nearly impossible to get work done in a productive and timely manner. Im really frustrated with my purchase and hoping this improves. Its shut down 3 times just while writing this review.

> 24 hourJust to write this review took me 4 attempts because this computer keeps crashing and I cant do anything with it. That is on top of the screen being in low res that I dont want even to watch an asd on it not to mention play a game on it (unless it 16bit game, then the screen will be best for it)

> 24 hourI ordered one and was having issues with the Bluetooth disconnecting like every 10 minutes. I have to go and turn the Bluetooth off and back on every 10 minutes. I have updated all of the settings, I have updated the Bluetooth and it still doesn’t freaking work. So I returned it and ordered another one thinking it was just a defect to that specific laptop..NOPE THIS ONE DIDNT WORK EITHER. Don’t waste your time.

> 24 hourI have owned the computer for over a week, and I find sometimes it will just freeze up and I have to hold the power tab for nearly a minute before it responds and shuts down. I realize it was a returned unit that I purchased, but so far this is the only problem with the unit.

> 24 hourI really liked this laptop, until the screen went totally black 15 days after purchase. It will still work with an external monitor. After 2 calls to customer service, and many hours searching the ASUS website for help, I will either return this or ship it off to be repaired. I finally had it all set up and running well. Now Im removing documents and deleting things so I can return it or send it off for repair. ASUS customer service is not much help. I am so disappointed.

> 24 hourBad something -- probably GPU. Techs said it couldnt be fixed. ASUS refused to honor the warranty and gave me FOUR different, conflicting reasons why they wouldnt.
