This is the perfect upgrade to my last Alienware laptop and less expensive than what I paid 3 years ago for similar level laptop. Fantastic specs - runs every game new and old as well as VR stuff. Lets see how future proof this one is

By far the coolest laptop I ever have. The RGB visual effect is awsome and it is perfect for playing game. The design of keystone and numerical keypad is intersting as well. PS: The review is written for a warranty extension from ASUS.

Now I havent played any super-demanding games on this or anything yet. But Ive tested Destiny 2 on this and it was pretty smooth. The fans run pretty loud and would recommend a cooling pad. There are some annoyances with Asus trying to get you sign up with McAfee, which I dont like. Everything else is simply great and the keyboard RGB settings are neat.

Esta laptop tiene varios problemas, para empezar no tiene teclado numérico y en este modelo en específico el touchpad no sirve como numérico (la foto de amazon es completamente engañosa), además tiene un coil whine terrible, básicamente cuando los ventiladores están bajos suena un sonido eléctrico bastante agudo, normalmente en otras laptops solo se escucharía pegando el oído y poniendo extrema atención, en este caso es audible todo el tiempo y muy molesto, y eso que dice la laptop que 0db cooling para tareas sencillas no es cierto, todo el tiempo funcionan las ventiladores,además la laptop tiene problemas que podrían o no resolverse por actualizaciones de bios, si cierras la tapa tiene problemas al entrar en standby y sigue activa y cuando la vuelves a abrir puede estar muy caliente, además la iluminación del teclado se muere de repente por un problema del firmware y deja de funcionar completamente hasta que entras en el panel de Asus y cambias el efecto para reiniciar el servicio de la iluminación.

The laptop is overall great, other than not having cameras for some models, and a pretty short battery life, there isn’t much to complain about. Getting delivered a broken laptop is something that has to deal with the shipping industry since most companies ALWAYS check their products before shipment. I got mine recently and I am in shock. My overall wifi connection was 1-2x better. I went from 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps. I thought it was a problem with my wifi router, but no, it was my laptop. i5, rtx 2060. My ping was a stable 40ms, so pretty decent. The quality and gameplay is absolutely STUNNING! I could watch videos crystal clear. I bought the 300hz and 165hz for a comparison, and now I use my 300hz for movies, streaming, watching shorts, etc. I use the 165hz for gaming, work, music, etc. I would recommend this laptop model as a cheap starter budget laptop to those who cannot afford a desktop pc. It rivals with the Acer Nitro 5, but I think ASUS ROG takes the win here.

Can easily play any game on ultra settings you throw at it and it really isn’t that loud when you’re playing. Only thing is that it eats up battery but since most people are going to use this laptop to game, it’s only customary to keep it plugged in. Although it does have that portability option. For 2k, I’d say if you’re looking to buy this machine go for it. The build quality, aesthetics, and performance are astounding. 11/10
