I bought this computer to use for graphic related processing. I have used it less than 10 times while still using my old computer and planned on implementing when I upgraded my computer area. I occasionally surfed the web and downloaded a few 3d related programs and went to start it one day and it came up with a black screen saying Please follow the steps below to recover your BIOS

Coming from a desktop rig I built in 2019 (ryzen 7 3700x, rtx 2070 super, 32gb ram) this thing annihilates it in gaming. Some initial thoughts after playing with it for a few hours tonight:

This is a nice high end laptop. It has a high end graphics card so it is particularly good for gaming. I found the screen to be suitable for a gaming pc, that is very nice to look at. The only fault I have with this laptop is that it has 16 gigabytes of ram rather than 32 gigabytes of ram. Still, most games only require 16 gigabytes of ram so that is not too much of a problem for gamers. I like the way asus integrates their app with windows update as this makes updating drivers much easier.

Me gusto mucho, es potente y he probado juegos pero desde el inicio ocurre un problema que si se va a hibernacion el indicador de bateria se pone en anarajado parpadeando y ya no puedes volver a usarla, debes apagar con el boton de apagado presionado 5 segundos, si no guardaste informacion ya la perdiste ya que no avisa.

Me encanto muchísimo este modelo, los materiales, diseño, pantalla a pesar que no tiene la nueva tecnología de Nebula ni tampoco el numpad, pero esta increíble, lamentablemente me llego con un defecto que tiene un sonido extraño. Es por eso que realice mi devolución, quise el reemplazo pero no se podía.

I just received my 2023 ROG STRIX G16 and there is no number pad. WTH?!? I spent a month reviewing laptops and chose this one because I wanted the performance without the large keyboard with number pad on the side. I chose this one because it is advertized as having the number pad built into the mouse pad and it DOES NOT!

Constantly blue screens, over heats and not worth buying.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this computer because it seemed to be too good to be true.
