> 3 dayI recently found myself in life where I needed a laptop more then using my gaming desktop. I had a nice higher end system and was scared to make the jump to a laptop, but let me just say, this blew expectations away.

> 3 dayI really am enjoying this laptop so far. The high power limited 3070ti plays all the games I enjoy at 100-140 fps and the screen looks quite good. The speakers are the best Ive heard on a gaming laptop so far (although i wish they could be a bit louder.) I upgraded mine from 16 gigs of ram to 32 and the process was pretty close to simple- since there are two ribbon cables connecting to the LED light bar you should be careful of.

> 3 dayIt’s been pretty fantastic. Graphics look good, handles video games well and seems to be cooling well. I also like the tweaks I can make to enhance performance if I want a little extra oomph when gaming.

> 3 dayWhen the laptop worked it got super hot and I had to buy a cooling mat while playing any game no matter its requirements. There are only two USB ports on the left-hand side of the laptop making mouse usage awkward. The laptop died and would not turn on after 6 months of usage. Its just a paperweight in my closet now. Made in China, its my own fault for paying 2k for a Chinese laptop.

> 3 dayI bought this as an alternative to my last working Msi gaming laptop. The last 3 Msi laptops were disappointing to say the least, defective when received and never repaired properly or were too fragile transporting to work and back, requiring constant maintenance and lasting 1 to 2 years before going out on me. So I was hoping ASUS could do better and wanted a 15.6 for my regular backpack. I was surprised that once I got the Win 11 OS configured right this little rig proved to be one of the best gaming laptops I ever bought. I have owned 6 or 7 over the years and this one impressed me with its reliability and although it looks kind of frail, proved to be pretty rugged so far. The Fed ex box it came in was banged up and there was virtually no foam, or padding of any kind around the inner box with the laptop - I was really surprised the laptop was not damaged. It is very light as well, so it is easy on an old back, but it will run almost any of my games maxed out and I can game with it in my lap without the fans burning me. No camera which is a bummer and the battery life unplugged is short as you would expect with such a powerful laptop, but I think it is an excellent gaming laptop for the casual or serious gamer hands down.

> 3 dayNow I havent played any super-demanding games on this or anything yet. But Ive tested Destiny 2 on this and it was pretty smooth. The fans run pretty loud and would recommend a cooling pad. There are some annoyances with Asus trying to get you sign up with McAfee, which I dont like. Everything else is simply great and the keyboard RGB settings are neat.
