I recently found myself in life where I needed a laptop more then using my gaming desktop. I had a nice higher end system and was scared to make the jump to a laptop, but let me just say, this blew expectations away.

Coming from a desktop rig I built in 2019 (ryzen 7 3700x, rtx 2070 super, 32gb ram) this thing annihilates it in gaming. Some initial thoughts after playing with it for a few hours tonight:

This laptop is amazing. Ive had it for only a week since writing this, but I am not disappointed. Getting 16gb of ram for well optimized games should suffice, but it would be better to aim for 32/64gb. I ended up upgrading to 32gb and am very happy.

Its a great laptop almost a desktop replacement, however there is one big flaw. Whenever I am playing a game the track pad just stops working. What Ive read online this is a windows 11 issue though none of the troubleshooting things Ive done help. An otherwise great product ruined by a crap operating system. Update dropped this to one star cause I literally cannot use this thanks to the most recent windows update. Without the option to let me use windows 10 which was stable and functional I have to use this windows 11 garbage now im endlessly stuck in a blue screen of death loop. Do not buy any product that comes with windows 11 the experience is more like a virus.

Running Debian Linux with the NVidia drivers, I was able to (thanks to the community Kernel contributions, and no thanks to ASUS) dual boot Windows and Linux with only one issue so far: Sound doesnt work. Bluetooth and wifi works (need the firmware on your install media to do a netinstall), my gaming headphone dongle works as a workaround, but the onboard sound is no go. Primus works. Performance in games is good. But theres no audio output yet.

Me gusto mucho, es potente y he probado juegos pero desde el inicio ocurre un problema que si se va a hibernacion el indicador de bateria se pone en anarajado parpadeando y ya no puedes volver a usarla, debes apagar con el boton de apagado presionado 5 segundos, si no guardaste informacion ya la perdiste ya que no avisa.

The laptop looks great physically. It had so many software problems. All rgb lights keeps turning on from Sleep in the middle of the night lighting up my whole room like a Christmas tree. Any software updates throws off how my Occulus VR works. It just stops working! All dark screen!

Great Laptop. For work, gaming and even the everyday tasks is amazing. RTX 3070TI is amazing and the Intel i9 are in another level. Very easy to upgrade which I did with the RAM and storage. Ram maxed up to 64 GB using two 32 GB Crucial DDR5 and Crucial p5 plus of 1tb Gen4 now having 2TB in total.
