Medicore, Not worth the price of $700

My unit arrived looking in new condition but after updating the drivers everything was horrendously laggy and choppy. Im willing to bet it was a one off but figure I would leave the review in case its not.

Overall great laptop, boots fast, graphics are great and RGB keyboard looks great. Ill be adding another 8G or ram but Ive been playing CSGO, Modern Warfare, PUBG with out any issues.. I got this on Black Friday for $599 and very happy with my purchase.

UPDATE [Feb 2 2020]: Asus serviced my laptop in response to the touchpad issue that persisted through online troubleshooting. The turnaround time was acceptable, and their communication through the process was very good. Unfortunately, the touchpad issue persists. I have now found several threads online about this issue, and it appears to be a design problem. My suspicion (shared by some online) is that it is caused by radio frequency interference. Apparently the touchpad is susceptible to interference and ASUS does not shield the touchpad as many other manufacturers do. The laptop still performs well and is fine in all other aspects. If you use an external pointing device as many do, you will like this laptop, but be aware that I have done everything I can do to get this fixed, and in the end the touchpad is not usable for me.

I got this computer for school and some gaming. Blue screen of death Microsoft software flaws. The computer is pretty heavy. It always disconnects me from wifi.

La laptop llegó antes del tiempo programado, que fué algo que me sorprendió. Viene en una discreta caja de cartón sin nada mas que el logo de Asus y el modelo, TUF. Al desempacar y encender, el windows se comienza a configurar y es cosa de seguir los pasos de instalación. En lo visual es imponente, pantalla ips de refresh de 120hz, teclado iluminado (viene en inglés, asi que no trae ñ) un trackpad de mouse de buen tamaño y sensible al tacto.

El equipo funciona bien es eficiente en sus procesos, solo que los materiales plásticos se tornan un poco flexibles al tacto en partes dónde una espera rigides como en el packmause

I would have given this a 5 star, but, about 2 months in with this laptop, the monitor started to get burn marks all over. Then a few days after that one of the USB ports started to shake and another died. Im about to send it back for repairs. Either way, Im impressed by the games it can handle.

Well thought out all around machine. Designed for the gamer on a budget, can play any game and play them well. Med-High 1080p around ps4 pro capabilities in a laptop.
