Estéticamente es maravillosa, y muy delgada pero funcionalmente es la peor laptop que he tenido. Desde la primera vez que se usó tuvo problemas de inicio, tarda horas en prender, a veces no prende, una decepción total! Quise devolverla pero sólo tenía garantía de 3 meses!! Absolute junk! I would steer clear of ALL Asus for the horrible service alone. The laptop has ultimately cost double the price because its had to be sent in for repair twice. The screen basically fell apart, it needs to stay plugged in because the battery is so bad despite asking for a new one when we sent it in to be serviced the first time. The charger cable had to be replaced. The harddrive failed after one year. This is a computer that has barely been used. The worst part is dealing with the customer service. The tech support was brutal and every time you are forced to call, after sitting on hold forever, you have to explain everything to them again. This is the third Asus my family has bought in the last couple of years because they used to be really solid, but they defiantly aren’t anymore.

This computer gave me problems with certain websites and features. The Adobe Flash kept acting up; I could not download any MP3 files, or anything for that matter, that is not part of the Microsoft family. I started getting a lot of spam emails, once I created a Microsoft account. The keyboard is super sensitive and the mousepad had no right or left button. I had to do a lot of fishing around to find out how to use features...comes with no manual. When I contacted Amazon to get support, the person gave me no options other than returning the laptop, which is what I did.

Let me preface this review by saying Im a middle aged retired woman. This computer is perfect for what I need. I surf the web, do a little research and maybe stream a movie or TV show occasionally. I do not game at all. This computer boots and searches very quickly. It is also quite light and slim. Easy on my wrists when lifting. It does have the quirks of S mode but Ive adjusted with no real whining. The major quirk was mail. I am one of the last 7 people on earth who has AOL mail. I could not get my mail through AOL web page but had to link my accounts to the Microsoft mail app. Not a big problem. You can easily get rid of S mode, but once you do, you cant go back. For me, the idea of a fast, safe mode, is more important than any weirdness S mode creates. All Good here.

You just want to mind your own business and use this laptop right away? Nope. Immediately upon powering on the computer, youll have to go through the mandatory Wifi connection in order to create a very intrusive Microsoft Outlook account that will ask for two email addresses, your name, and DOB. It is impossible to complete the setup process if you dont have access to WiFi and it is not possible to skip any of the these steps. Finally, the description shows that this Laptop comes with Windows 10 but the computer automatically upgrade to Windows 11 during the initial setup. And again, you dont have any other choice.

I bought this laptop specifically because I have poor eye sight in the dark and therefore was looking to purchase a laptop with a backlit keyboard (as it states in the description). Opened it to find out there is no backlit keyboard. Will be returning this product because it is not the product that it advertised ], which was the reason I purchased it.
