Intended use for transfer of files from other sources, using an SD Card. Found this is not a possibility.

What I liked about the product is that it has a long lasting battery source and had decent quality and runs quickly for a casual day of just watching youtube videos but for gaming it is the COMPLETE opposite, if i had the choice to I would get a different one. Even with heavy optimizations its not as good as you would think it would be based on the processor. It is not a touch screen.

    Greater than one week

I was completely impressed with the build quality yet how light this laptop was. I especially like the mat at the screen so there is not a glare and the battery life is very good. The SSD drive makes the computer load up quickly. I really believe this is a great computer at a great price. For years when I put together computer systems I used a ASUS motherboards as I believed these were the top motherboards on the market.

I bought two of them for my moms office. One of them came with no problems while the other didnt boot up at all.

To be transparent, I bought the version of this with Ryzen 3. It was plenty fast for office productivity and online use. HOWEVER, after only a week, I had to return it to the local retailer where I purchased it. I had to call ASUS three times in one day when the screen dimmed so much on battery that it was not going to be usable. The fix they walked me through worked for the screen, but deleted the battery icon in the task bar. I called a second time and the original problem with the screen returned. The third call finally took care of it. Then, a new problem cropped up, I kept getting an alert that it couldnt connect to my network and I had to let diagnostics fix it each time I logged on. I called ASUS for the fourth time and they walked me through a fix and said it should work fine. The problem, however, remained and I am not going to go through network diagnostics every time I log onto a new computer. There were also other problems: a touchpad that was so sensitive it was always minimizing the window, it had a really fragile power pack that got super hot, and the speakers worked fine for music but speaking voices were inaudible. Im really disappointed. The price was right, but it was the only thing that was. There were just too many problems in the first week that it did not bode well for the life of this product. I wondered if I got a lemon, and should give them another chance, but after my experience, and reading the negative reviews here I have been scared away from ASUS.
