Greater than one weekSo on the product title it says Mac Compatible. the folks at ASUS were not kind enough to post their Mac drivers on their website. So there is no way to get the Mac drivers unless you have a second computer with a DVD drive to copy the driver from their enclosed DVD and then move to your Mac. I am even doubtful that the enclosed DVD has the Mac driver, but having access only to one laptop without a driver (this is why I bought this) I can not tell. I had to call customer service. The first line customer service is not able to email me the driver. He took my number and said that he will escalate it and have someone call me. So two days later exactly at 11AM when i was just about to go on an important business call someone from ASUS customer service called me back. He explained that there is no need for Mac drivers and that it should all just work. I thanked him for calling him and said that it is not working and I would just return it. I had to get on my business call and could not take the time right there to deal with ASUS customer service. Their first tier engineer should have known this info or he should have been able to escalate this ti tier 2 support on the spot. Them calling me two days later at a time when I could not talk was just not OK. I suggest you look elsewhere if you expect some form of timely customer service.

> 3 daythe outer plastic case is a bit flimsy: flimsy enough to interfere with the drive trays ability to close if you put your fingers on top of the case

> 3 dayIt wides what it’s supposed to so far, only issue is that the disc tray gets stuck when it’s opening because the frame is bent inward so you have to pry it up to get it free

> 3 dayMy new Zenbook, like so many newer notebook computers, does not have an optical drive, so I bought this with it. Just plug it into a USB port and insert the media disk.

> 3 dayAs an 73 elderly person that isnt up on all the technology these days I find that the ASUS Zendrive is easy to use and lightweight for a brittle person like myself that can only lift 5 pounds on a good day.

> 3 dayWhat I like about this best is, other than the fact that it works perfectly, this one didnt give me any troubles at all as compared with a previous one I bought (and returned) because it was throwing amperage warning messages because it was drawing more than it should have (>5 amps). Thatll teach me for going with non-name brand, cheapo products.

> 3 dayThis feels like it could maybe break easily, but it hasnt so far, and Ive accidently dropped it twice - so pretty durable even if it doesnt seem like it. Works great and Ive had no issues. Exactly what I hoped it would be.

Greater than one weekASUS makes a good quality, tough DVD player especially for the price. My first one worked great and I used it every day until I dropped it one too many times. :-( Just received my second one.

> 3 dayComputers today either do not come with a drive bay or if you buy cases that do not have a slot for it then this is the other option. I purchased this because refreshing windows every year for some reason the network adapter isnt up to date so i have to use a drive to install the drivers for internet to work. works great
