Atom Drop Deck Longboard - 39 Inch

Very stable board and my 9 year old son is loving it. He still has some learning, but this board really makes it easy.

This board works very well. It rolls smoothly, steers well and is comfortable to ride.

I wanted to try out a longboard for a last mile commute situation. I am not into any typical longboard activities, this was just the most portable, inexpensive, efficient transportation I could find for 1-3 mile rides in each direction. This comes with softer wheels, standard kingpin trucks, and a slightly dropped deck. The factory combo is adequate. You can get on it and ride, and the wheels and deck make for a fairly smooth riding platform even on lousy roads. The bearings work well enough to start, maybe even better for beginners because they roll ok, but not like youre on ice. I ordered 3mm rubber risers and Bones Reds bearings, put them on after just one or two rides. Both were excellent upgrades, imo. The lower risers make the deck height a bit lower and easier to push, though they invite wheelbite if you are heavier and really work the rails. The new bearings glide great, and are good for probably twice the distance traveled for the same effort as the stock ones. With no other longboard experience, this set-up feels much like a big, heavy, cushy ride skateboard- though without a kicktail. It turns much like a reqular skateboard. The length feels adequate for a 6+ rider, though it may be narrow if you dont like your feet hanging over. Overall, this should work fine as a transportation board on less than ideal surfaces that are flat or moderately sloped. Its faster, smoother, and more efficient than a skateboard, but the choice between this and a cruiser might be made by how you prioritize the deck height, overall size, and kicktail.

Mine came in black instead of the brown shown and I think I like it better. Nice ride, sturdy/flexible and handles well. Wheels are grippy and ready to ride out of the box. No issues as of yet, would definitely buy again. I only cruise and ride to the train station. Good drop on the board and the dips let you know where u are. Get complements all the time. Wouldnt mind getting the brown one also.

The sticker with the barcode removes the paint on the board, overall nice board some imperfections here and there, a little bumbed the sticker peels the paint other tha. That it rides smooth, loosened the bearings, I would still replace them, wheels are super soft trucks are super responsive

been riding this around for a couple weeks now. Im loving it. the only adjustments I made were loosening the wheels and trucks just a tad. it holds my 205 lbs just fine. its a ton of fun carving up the sidewalks and parking lot of my apartment complex. its pretty fast without too much effort, but like I said, I had to loosen the wheels a bit. barely need to push; this thing just wants to ROLL!! bearings are very smooth so far. wheels absorb the bumps well. this is the first longboard Ive owned, and Im kicking myself for not getting one sooner. definite recommend for anyone. Im thinking beginners will love the drop deck design for its stability.

Great board for the money. Bearings are quite fast and the board is made pretty well with a great turning capabilities. Only reason for a 4-star is because the description is incorrect. This is an atom micro drop deck. Which means its not as low as the regular drop decks

My 10 yr old picked it out and loves it! He was brand new to long boarding and caught in pretty quickly. Thumbs up!!
