Its so smooth when you get it, although 5 mins into riding it a screw came loose and fell making me fall so check to see if the screws are nice and tight. also try losening the trucks they come to tight for me but i guess that personal preference

This a fantastic longboard, however the grip tape wears off really soon. Use it almost daily, and am lovin it to death though.

Im 6 feet tall, 193 lbs, and 45 years old, but dont any of you millenials think I wont show you first hand that Old Man Strength isnt a myth. Im an advanced wakeboarder, intermediate snowboarder, but havent been on a board w/ wheels for 2 decades. (so take my review as such) I bought this board to commute around Portland Oregon. i.e. groceries, gym, dispensary, rides w/ daughter etc.t First off, the trucks were way too tight. I dont hit any major hills or generate any super speed, so I preferred the mobility of loose trucks, than the stability of tight ones. Secondly, the wheels were too tight, theyd barely turn w/ a hand pull (no pun intended). It took me a while to get use to the engineering of a longboard, It was strange not being able to do a 180 or pop the board up w/ a stomp. Once I adjusted to the style I understood how its much better for cruising and commuting than the traditional board. I rode it 7 miles yesterday, mainly sidewalk, a few asphault parking lots, and had very few problems w/ obstacles. I ate it crossing the tri met tracks, and had to bail on a 3 inch vertical sidewalk crack. I read some reviews saying its not a slide board, but Im able to perform a heel side 90 degree slide on smooth parking lots. However, Im struggling w/ that slide on concrete (sidewalks) (probably just my greenness). All in all, for 100 bucks, Im very happy w/ the purchase and feel its a great board to learn the basics. Im heading to the coast soon, Ill report back on how it handles longer faster hills. Hope this helps someone, Aloha Mr. Hand

Love this board! Its easy to ride and not as heavy as the other atom drop down board, which I also have. Nice smooth wheels, excellent grip tape as well. Very pretty wood look underneath, there were some nicks on the wood when it arrived unfortunately. Overall I really enjoy skating on this board.

The back paint looks amazing, the bearings are abec 9 its fine but need a bit of speed creaming, the grip is tight, and the board feels nice

The wheels are rated 78a and they roll for ever. I bought this board for my 9 year old so he could ride with his 15 year old brother and myself. This board turns easy so even a 65lb kid can maneuver it with ease. We switch off boards so i can say i like this board for myself at 185 lbs. We do some small downhill riding board and our skill handle speeds up to 25mph with out any problem.

been riding this around for a couple weeks now. Im loving it. the only adjustments I made were loosening the wheels and trucks just a tad. it holds my 205 lbs just fine. its a ton of fun carving up the sidewalks and parking lot of my apartment complex. its pretty fast without too much effort, but like I said, I had to loosen the wheels a bit. barely need to push; this thing just wants to ROLL!! bearings are very smooth so far. wheels absorb the bumps well. this is the first longboard Ive owned, and Im kicking myself for not getting one sooner. definite recommend for anyone. Im thinking beginners will love the drop deck design for its stability.

I purchased this board in feb of 2015... I came online just to look at what was available from the same company today. I love this board, and ride it regularly just to de-stress from a long day. So fun, so easy and smooth. It reminds me a lot of snowboarding. I’m almost 39, and I’m here looking at other boards for fun. Again, I’ll totally stick with this company.

Aggressive concave and foot pockets lock you in when you need it while the low deck height increases stability and makes pushing a breeze. Welcome to the next level of Atom drop decks. With their 35mm (3/4 inch) drop these boards feels as much at home cruising around town as they do carving up the hills to get there.
