Audeze LCD-X Over Ear Open Back Headphone New 2021 Version Creator Package with Carry case

Ive started to notice after several hours of listening time that my right ear is now touching the right fazor (plastic grill) on the headphone and causes great discomfort. Ive looked online and this is a known issue with audezes LCD line. Its surprising that people have had issues with the exact same thing and yet dont fix their pads. Ive contacted support and was told that there was nothing they can do. I dont have giant ears and they are quite normal. When I glance at the pads the right padding seems thinner than the left pad. Also not to mention that the pelican case that comes with the headphone is missing a rubber foot so when its placed on a flat surface it wobbles.

The Audeze LCD X 2021 are the BEST HEADPHONES FOR VALUE OF MONEY, Period! The Sounds coming from this headphone r the most truest to the music! It produces a common copy of the actual recording w/o any coloring to the music. If there’s a lot of bass in the recording, then these cans will produce you a lot of bass. If there’s little to less bass, then it’ll feed you little to less bass.

I bought these headphones through Richer Sounds Amazon store. Im very happy with my purchase. The sound quality is beautiful, its rare to have such rich, organic and natural tonality with such clarity, its usually a trade off between one or the other. Vocals and instruments sound real, an acoustic guitar sounds like someone is sat in front of you playing an actual guitar, just stunning. The headphones are easy to drive and are very comfortable for me. I should imagine you would have to pay a lot more for minor improvements of the sound quality of these headphones

I own a lot of expensive headphones and I can say from experience that these are hands down the best. I cant figure out what flaws these have. The detail on these is extreme. The bass is just right and the vocals are spot on. Excellent imaging and clarity. Buy these!

Well built but muddy sounding, with little high-frequency detail. Very heavy and uncomfortable.

Fantastic detail and sound stage. Impressive dynamics and frequency range. Comfortable and not as heavy as its perceived by many people. Can easily have it for a couple hours fine. Im pairing it with a Topping E50 and L50 stack, they are perfect for these cans. Is it worth the price? Probably not for casual listeners, if you want some of the best professional level detail retrieval, these are definitely the right choice.

High points for clarity, comfort, sound stage, instrument separation and precision tuning and stereo balance on the lower end as well as in the mids and uppers. There is no low points, except maybe the high price... But, in this case, it is obviously justified.

Note: heavy but not uncomfortable.
