> 3 dayThis has that unfortunate powder-mixed-in-lotion texture not uncommon to mineral products. It does not apply evenly and leaves weird white streaks everywhere. I wanted a safe, chemical-free sunscreen, and this definitely is! Nasty chemicals were primarily added to beauty products because they make them more convenient to use, but the bottom line is the price to our health is high, and most especially with babies the exposure is a genuine concern. We do not live in a climate where sunscreen is an everyday thing, so for us, this wasnt practical. However, if we lived in a sunny place I could see taking the time to apply this slowly and evenly to a post-bath baby and wait for it to soak in before dressing, which would make it very user friendly. I am gonna stick to the classics until I find a better alternative than this powdery goop.

> 3 dayPurchased this for my 13 month old daughter. I love this sun screen lotion and have had no concerns with it. This product comes in a two pack and has lasted forever...we actually havent broken into the second container yet and we have used it for a whole season. The consistency of the lotion is very similar to regular sun tan lotion. Very mild sun tan lotion smell. The lotion is a little oily. Essentially, you can expect this to be like normal sun screen. No staining of clothing. Recommend!

> 3 dayI might have had a bad batch...but I burned both times I used this. I applied about an hour before sun exposure, then was outside for 2.5 hrs. Not sweaty or wet. The formula is think and a bit greasy, which I don’t care for, but put up with for mineral-based and natural sunscreens. Naturally, I was disappointed that it didn’t protect my skin. The ingredient profile is great — not sure why I had bad results.

> 3 daywho can complain about this? its got great reviews from the environmental working group and its priced right. This is a mineral sunscreen so it goes on thick and will stay on your skin but, it seems to work well. the only time I had an issue was when I put too thin of a layer on my own face and got a bit of a sunburn but, it was user error as I didnt burn anywhere else. all sunscreen should be applied fairly generously so, this product is no different. smell is pleasant. I keep a bottle in the car, in the outdoor bag, and one by my front door.

> 3 dayOur kids are fair (one with sensory issues) and sensitive skin, so it took a while to find sunscreen we could use on all of them without triggering a meltdown. Our kids don’t burn, and it doesn’t wear us out just getting them ready to go outside!

> 3 dayThis is my preferred sunscreen for use with my kids. I really love that the ingredients are non-toxic and non-hormone-disrupting. The ingredients in this sunscreen are also not known to negatively affect your thyroid, so frequent use isnt an issue. It also doesnt have an obnoxious scent. I really like the thicker texture of this sunscreen. Some sunscreens are super runny and oily, but this one isnt as greasy, goes on smooth, and soaks in quickly. Like other sunscreens, you must apply this 15 to 30 minutes before going outside and definitely before getting wet. To prevent sunburn, it needs to be reapplied like any other sunscreen--every hour, especially when in the water.

> 3 dayI always buy Babyganics sunscreen for my kids! It seems to be the safest option out of reviews I have read for their skin. It is a little thicker than most sunscreens, but it doesn’t have any of the parable a or other bad ingredients that the other sunscreens do. It is worth it to me to pay a few extra dollars and buy one that works and is good for their skin.

> 3 dayThis sunscreen is IT. I first purchased it based on the safety rating it was given by the EWG. Turns out it is the only sunscreen I have ever used that doesnt bother my sensitive skin and doesnt burn the eyes at all. At all! Even my kids will gladly smear it on their little faces without any fear of the burning eyes. It is very white, as is typical of zinc-based sunscreens, but if you take the time to rub it in well the whiteness goes away. Its very effective on my very fair skin...Ive never tanned in my life, just burn, and this sunscreen has done an excellent job of protecting my skin. It is decently waterproof, too. AND its the most inexpensive, EWG-approved sunscreen. This is a Summer staple for our family and is included in my Subscribe & Save deliveries - thats how much we love it and use it.

Greater than one weekGreat sunscreen for myself and my babies. I use this because it gets an Environmental Working Group rating of 2 (when I checked), it is thick like all mineral sunscreens but it rubs in pretty easily, and it is affordable. I need a lot of it because daycare sends the babies outside for 1.5 hours a day year-round. It doesnt smell and it works for hours after application (I put it on at 6am and it appears to still protect my toddler through 11am, even though it is only rated for 2 hours after application). My kids have sensitive skin and have never had issue with this.
