Ive tried A LOT of different sunscreens for myself and my kids and this has been the best so far. It absorbs and spreads easily without leaving a white cast or smearing over everything we touch. Its also really gentle on their faces and doesnt irritate or turn their skin red from application. They havent gotten burned at all after using this sunscreen. Im never getting anything else!

My little had allergic reaction to this sunscreen. His very first time to have allergic reaction to a sunscreen. I had to apply steroids to help him with the rash. And no one I can contact for Cs.

So far, so good, thank heavens! This is the ONLY sunscreen product or sunscreen containing cosmetic Ive found that SEEMS to work for my skin. ALL others have made me break out quite badly, immediately and are very opaque in appearance, i.e., very ugly, I mean like going around with a greasy-looking, Plaster of Paris mask on! (Most refer to clear zinc oxide content, but what Ive experienced is certainly NOT clear, and is extremely difficult to remove ~ one left behind white fuzz and grit, after repeated washing and other cleansing)! Although Ive only used Babyganics once AND only briefly, this is quite light in consistency, I had no adverse reactions or difficulty in cleaning / removal, as with ALL the others! This was the only thing that protected my skin from buending in the carribean. I had gone kayaking while wearing a different lotion and got burnt to a crisp even with reapplying as directed. The next day I put this baby on and my skin did not get any worse even with two full days out in the sun and in the water. The only bad thing is it is very greasy, I kinda felt like I was being oiled up like a Thanksgiving day turkey. But Id take oily over burned in a heartbeat.

Good sunscreen but leave your skin white

We were looking for extra protection for our three month old baby while at the beach - our pediatrician recommended babyganics. It’s not the easiest to spread but that’s common among zinc based sunscreen. Baby didn’t burn but was also using UV protection outfits and covered most the time.

This has that unfortunate powder-mixed-in-lotion texture not uncommon to mineral products. It does not apply evenly and leaves weird white streaks everywhere. I wanted a safe, chemical-free sunscreen, and this definitely is! Nasty chemicals were primarily added to beauty products because they make them more convenient to use, but the bottom line is the price to our health is high, and most especially with babies the exposure is a genuine concern. We do not live in a climate where sunscreen is an everyday thing, so for us, this wasnt practical. However, if we lived in a sunny place I could see taking the time to apply this slowly and evenly to a post-bath baby and wait for it to soak in before dressing, which would make it very user friendly. I am gonna stick to the classics until I find a better alternative than this powdery goop.

I have used this sunscreen on both of my children all summer long. I love, love, love it. Many reviewers were upset because it leaves a streaky white color after application but it did not bother me, my children, and no one at the pool even noticed, so for the protection it provides, I dont mind how it looks. This is a very thick, creamy lotion with no funny odor like most sunscreens that are not mineral based. And at least Im able to tell if Ive missed a spot! I would recommend this sunscreen to anyone looking for a great, cheaper end, mineral based sunscreen. This has 2 bottles in the package and Ive only used about 1 and a half for the entire summer for 2 children under the age of 5, so I feel like it goes a long way.

Our son had sensitive skin and this sunscreen work wonderfully for him! It also last much longer than other sunscreens. Once we put it on at 10 am and got in the pool at 1 without reapplying and he came away with no pink skin at all. Another plus is that we live in the country and have well water, this sunscreen doesnt leave rust stains after washing like many other sunscreens do. We will definitely continue purchasing this brand!

This sunscreen has been working wonders for my 6 month old. It goes on very easily and doesn’t have a strong smell at all. Love it!
