Worked Great once I realized that there was a little on/off switch that I had to flip on(which embarrassingly took me awhile to find). The shipping was very quick and the item does exactly what I needed it to do. I liked the slimmer design and no bright blinking lights to call attention to it. It kind of just disappears behind my t.v. and I got it for a great price. Would happily buy again.

Nothing special about this surge protector, but that shouldnt be taken as a negative. This is a solid surge protector at a great price. It provides everything you would expect in a surge protector in this price range. It looks good too. I have every reason to expect this last a long time.

Inexpensive. Belkin quality.

Mine caught fire, too. During a short period that looked like a brown out. It emitted a horrible stench that permeated the whole house. When I discovered the black soot on the outside of the strip I immediately removed it from service. I am guessing that this device is not rated to work during brown outs or long periods of low voltage. The internal circuitry is burned up. Based on what I see here and other reviews, I would not trust this device for safety reasons and potential fire hazard.

It does the job -- no complaints so far after several months of use.

Although this is OK and Belkin is generally a good company, it would be much better with a positive power indicator (e.g. a light on the on/off switch) and a longer cord.

Its very easy to see the build quality of this product. Its a must to protect your electronics from any surge.

You get exactly what you think. A standard surge protector, easy on/off button, sturdy build. The true test is when it experiences a power surge, but that has yet to happen. *Fingers crossed*
