> 3 daySurge protection is cheap, but the price is even cheaper. A short extension cord with plug multiplier with basic surge protection that is cheaper than almost any extension cord or corded banana plug (when I bought it, prices on this have risen since).

> 3 dayI really like this surge protector. I use it to connect a TV, PS3, and a media player. It gives me piece of mind in case there are some storms, etc. in the area. We have had some bad storms in the past few months and lightning strikes, etc. close to our house, and I have not noticed any issues or surges on devices connected to this protector. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is that the power cord that plugs this into the outlet is not very flexible (probably due to thickness), thus making it harder to keep in the position you want.

> 3 dayI use these ext cords to hook my many recording devices to a few wall outlets, they are built sturdy and seem to work fine, be careful with older power strips since the plastic can become brittle and break exposing the electricty to your HANDS its happened to me 2 times.....but i dropped the instantly and experienced no harm...
