I bought this in hopes of helping lower my cholesterol. My plan was to put it in my morning coffee that I drink every day. And it works! In the beverage, I cant taste it at all. I usually add milk and sugar to my coffee so it might help hide any taste, but I dont detect it at all. I think I might try adding it to my hot tea as well in the evenings! Good stuff!

This product mixes extremely well in my morning coffee and adds no taste (I drink it black) what so ever. Overall its a great product for digestive heath because it feeds the good bacteria in your gut and keeps bowels moving regularly. Ive definitely noticed a difference and it might even provide some relief to those who experience irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or diverticulosis. (Im not a doctor) The not so great is that this product is made from wheat dextrin, which is a form of wheat starch. The manufacturer considers it gluten-free because it contains less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten. However, people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease may have an issue. Also, I saw no improvement in blood sugar or Cholesterol using this product. Whereas I did experience an improvement in both levels using a product containing Psyllium Fiber. To be fair, I was using both products for my most recent blood test, so its possible the improvement occurred because I was using both products or simply an increase in the amount of fiber Im consuming on a daily basis. I wont know for sure until I discontinue using this product and reschedule blood work.

This has no taste and mixed well with your drink. I use it once a day but dont see a difference after 1 month

I am a senior who has suffered..I mean suffered with constipation for years. Didnt want to get hooked on laxatives, so worked with Metamucil, Citrocel, prune juice, and a few others. Nothing helped. Without going into too much detail, I discovered Benefiber and...VOILA!!! Without being too graphic...I have never experienced the....shall we say; volume(?) of a bm in my life! I feel like my entire large intestine has been purged of feces top to bottom. At first I thought it was maybe a one time benefit; but it has now been several weeks of the same. When youre as old as I am (92), a good bm is as close to sex as youll get; sad to say. To paraphrase the immortal Stones, I can now say I DO get satisfaction.

Item did not have a protective shield, and I cannot return it. I’m very disappointed.

This stuff is great. You can add it to pretty much any liquid that isn’t carbonated, as far as I can tell. Stir or shake for a few seconds, and it dissolves. Within a minute, it’s invisible. You can’t taste it at all. I’ve left it sit for hours, and there’s no clumping, either. And for my sparkling water fans (or soda for that matter) who want more fiber, you can add fiber to plain water, mix it in, and carbonate it using a sodastream! It seems to hold carbonation just as well, and hasn’t caused a single issue, other than getting some on the outside of the bottle, and needing to rinse it off with water. As to the effect, well... Certain bedroom activities benefit greatly from a couple tablespoons of benefiber each day. The reduced prep time for said activities is well worth the asking price, especially compared to other, much more expensive products, like Pure for Men. I’ve never used that product, because it’s overpriced, but I have used psyllium husk capsules (which are basically the same), and they don’t work as well as benefiber. I think the main reason is that benefiber basically forces you to also take in water with your fiber, which makes it *actually* work. Too much fiber and not enough water will leave you constipated in some cases, too. That’s not a concern here. I do recommend shopping around for this product though, because there is a container twice this size available, which makes measuring spoons a lot easier to use. The price of this product seems to vary a lot based on where you buy it, so double check!

I use it in hot beverages and it’s helped me in a lot of ways. Glad I found this product.

This product is so-so. There are others like it on the market that work better.
