I am replacing my old iMac with a new PC but was very worried about finding a comparable screen for a reasonable price. I did a lot of research, read lists of budget editing screens, most of which were $300-$1000 -- still out of my current budget. Finally after reading tons of reviews on amazon I decided to try this one out and I am very pleased with this purchase! I got the 24 inch and played around with the settings a bit but really it was pretty great straight out of the box. I photograph portraits and weddings and I have a very vibrant style. Because of that I needed to make sure the color was pretty spot-on. I had used my husbands computer to edit a few times and found out the hard way that his screens color was way off and it can make peoples skin tones look sickly. So as soon as I get the monitor set up I pulled up images on both my iMac and the new BenQ screen and they looked very close! We actually noticed that my iMac whites are a little warmer so I pulled out a bunch of prints I have had made and started comparing and the BenQ seemed to be even More accurate to what my prints looked like! A lot of people complained that this screen is too bright, but I dont know if they have changed it since those reviews were written... it didnt seem too bright to me at all, I have it set to 100 brightness. Another reviewer posted settings to match the iMac display, but when I put the brightness level to 50 it was wayyy below the brightness of my iMac. So, I kept the settings pretty close to the automatic settings, I adjusted the gamma a little and a couple other things here and there. So I am very happy with this purchase, I will be sure to update if I have any issues or anything else to add!

Being on a keyboard all day, I found that my dry eye problem was becoming worse. And working off a laptop led me with too small a screen to focus on. Being on a very small budget, there wasnt much choice in options. I chose this specifically because it talked about being easier on the eyes. Hallelujah! This truly is easier on my eyes. My eyestrain is seriously reduced and my dry eyes are no longer so dry. The size is ok for my work area, which is pretty small. I sit about the length of a full-sized bed away from the screen. Further away would be too far. Closer would be uncomfortable. Plan accordingly. There are two things that are mildly disappointing to me. First is the reduced sharpness of the picture. The one on my laptop is much sharper. Im trading off the larger size and reduced eyestrain for somewhat less sharpness. Ill live with it. The second is the inevitable near lack of speaker volume. Plan to either use headphones or attach secondary speakers. I use some small, inexpensive ones that are perfectly adequate to my admittedly unsophisticated and demanding needs. I use headphones when I am editing legal transcripts. All in all, Im perfectly satisfied that the product met my requirements. If I had the ability to get a top of the line eye-care monitor, Id jump at the opportunity. But in the beggers-cant-be-choosers category, this is surprisingly adequate.

My package arrived, banged up and torn. I was going to return it. So I called Amazon support. And with Amazon support, I was encouraged to open the box to see if it works or if there’s any damage. My screen wasn’t damaged. It looked great, and so we turned it all together. And I’m so glad I listen to the Amazon support person. Ethan. Thank you. My eyes are grateful to you. This is such a great product. If you have work from home, or if you have to do coding or you have to look at multiple screens at the same time. This doesn’t hurt your eyes. Or if you have a laptop with a crappy screen with high blue light and high flickering. This is a great alternative to add to it so you don’t have to look at that terrible screen. That was my case. And now I’m so glad. Within one day, my eyes are even better than before. So I might even return my glasses clipped that I bought just for this purpose.

I needed a new monitor, but nothing game-worthy, just something to use to read and write with without going blind. This monitor has lots of good eye-strain prevention qualities that are good for my 70-year-old eyes. Its also very well-built for an inexpensive 27 monitor. I connected it to my 2019 MacBook Pro with a Warrky USB-C to DisplayPort cable, and everything worked except the sound through the speakers on the monitor. I struggled with that for a while, and gave up, because I really didnt care that much about the sound, turned off my computer and monitor and went to bed. Today, when I turned on the computer and monitor, the sound worked. I guess the trick is to reboot if you dont get the sound to work at first. Knowing that would have saved me a lot of time. Anyway, I consider this a really great buy and just what I needed. Except for the initial sound issue, the process went very smoothly. Sleeping on it really helped!

Easy to assemble, sturdy, and very good quality. I use it for office work and movies. No reason to spend more.

I bought this BenQ in March 2020 so have it for 2 1/2 yr. My constant problem has been the screen suddenly goes black and says no connection or I turn off the screen and then get this error when I turn it on. The cable into the Display Port is not working correctly. I have had to pull out the cable and insert it again, sometimes 3 or 4 times before it connects. The contrast is not sharp, just ok. It seems to be ok for eye care, I never felt any eye strain. This is my first and my last BenQ.

This monitor is super sleek and I have it attached to a dual monitor mount and it attached easily via VESA mounting holes. The only little thing I have an issue is that it is bit a slower to turn on and setup when I wake up my PC from a sleep. It takes about 5 seconds to turn on after my main gaming monitor. Also, the default settings for this monitor dont really show how nice and bright this monitor can get so I suggest tampering with the settings to your liking. Some dimming problems also exist when youre not centered with the screen, but that isnt too much to complain about as its fairly priced compared to other monitors of its kind.

Like: If you are on a budget this is a really good monitor. I usually play games on my Dell G3 Laptop and I wanted a monitor with a big screen. Well, I found this monitor while its on sale. Finally received it and it was quick when it comes to shipping. The packaging was very clean. It was very easy to setup and you do not need any tools to set this up. The video looks great. I would have bought one with 144hz 1ms for gaming, but I’m on a budget. I would go all out if I was more into first person shooting games, but it does it’s job. I’m going to purchase another one. I also love how BenQ provided the hdmi cable. That’s a plus in my books since I don’t need to purchase one. Other than that I have no issues with it. Works great with my eyes since it uses that special feature to turn off the blue light. Great for long lasting gaming without stressing my eyes since I play World of Warcraft Classic. Also love how thin the boarders are. Dislike: The speaker on the monitor are way too low. Thats expected on any monitor in my books. That’s the only thing I dislike about this monitor. Other than that I’m still giving this monitor a 5 stars since I’m just using this as a monitor. If I wanted great sound then I would rather buy external speakers. I’m more in it for the picture. Check out the photos I posted and hope this helps.

Just recently stopped working after 3 years, but before that was a good quality for the price. I like the cable management on the back and the bevel style.

Easy set up. Large. Good value for the price. I have an older laptop, so I wasnt looking for a top of the line gaming monitor with the best graphics. Having the built in speakers are nice, and the monitor worked right away with plugging it into my computer. No need to download drivers from somewhere else. Would recommend!
