> 3 dayIve always purchased the regular vanilla which is solid. I didnt want the added sugar and was hesitant to try it. Glad I did. Very good, NO aftertaste, I might actually like it better than the vanilla. I think BIo Chem protein powders are one of best tasting Whey protein powders. The chocolate is good too. I havent tried the zero sugar chocolate but now Im tempted.

> 3 dayAfter reading good reviews i decided to buy this. One thing i noticed it the caninster is a little small (7L) but it comes about 80% full. The flavor is super unique and it doesnt leave that unplesany whey aftertaste in your mouth. It satisfies hungrr instantly as well. I used a gnc shaker cup to mix it and it had no issues dissolving. Most sugar free shakes that are this healthy are probably going to be sweetened with a disgusting artificial sweetner, not this one because the 3rd ingredient is coconut oil. How smart to use coconut oil! I use this as for pre/post workout as it contains 20g of protein. Its 99% lactose free (wow) and it has tons of amino acids. The flavor is terrific its just biting into a coconut chew. You can easily blend it with milk in a blender and add fruit and it would taste even better. So glad i made this purchase!

> 3 dayI want to give it 3.5 stars but cant. My intentions on buying this product was not to build muscle mass, Im not especially a heavy lifter and not looking to bulk up. I wanted something I could use after running, swimming, and lifting to help muscle recovery. I picked the 28 oz natural flavor of this brand because, from the research I had done, it had one of the lowest sugar/carbs and fat/cholesterol per serving. It also doesnt have any artificial sweeteners (stevia, sweet and low, etc.) So Ive been taking this after lifting, and also after running to help my legs recover more quickly. Ive been using it for about a month and a half and so far here is what I have noticed. RECOVERY - To be 100% honest, I do not see any different in recovery time between when I do and do not drink the formula after working out, or if I do its generally pretty negligible. MUSCLE BUILDING - Ive actually been working out because I want to lose about 15 lbs and get back in shape, I wasnt intending on bulking up but I have noticed that generally my muscles are getting bigger overall (which also means even though Im losing fat, Im not losing as much weight.) MIXING - I got the neutral flavor which has only a slight vanilla flavor, and is not particularly sweet, so it mixes well with fat free milk or even orange juice. Generally I did experience some of the clumping that other people have also, but this only occurs when you try to mix too much powder with too little liquid. I usually use a 1/2 to 3/4 scoop with about 10 ounces of milk or juice. Most of the time there is more clumping when mix with a spoon, but when I use a chopstick it occurs to less degree and less often. SIDE EFFECT(?) - The contain says that there is no Phenylalanine or Tryptophan naturally or artificially. I do get boost of energy for the rest of the day after using it, but that is most likely due to the workout. Every single time I have used this, the next morning I feel unusually tired and will sleep 1-1.5 hours longer than I normally would (even if I go to bed early). Dont know if anyone else has experienced this. In sum, if you are looking for something to build lean muscle on, I think this is a good product. In terms of workout recovery I am a little disappointed with how it has been working. I also would like to know if anyone else has experienced fatigue after using this powder if thats just me. I havent decided if I would buy it again when I finish this one.

> 3 dayLOVE this protein! Spent a long time looking at different proteins, but chose this one since I dont want a ton of protein or calories, especially since I also have this with a snack. 1 Scoop of the Natural flavor mixed with 8 ounces of Vanilla almond milk is DELICIOUS!! It is a bit clumpy when mixed with a spoon, but I personally dont mind that. Using a blender gets rid of the clump factor. Mixed with the almond milk, I thought this protein tasted very similar to a shake. I used the Sweetened Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Vanilla (its a little bit better than 1% milk, no cholesterol, no saturated fat, about 10 less calories, but less protein). I just started a weight training routine along with my husband and wanted to add just a bit of protein, so we split the 1 scoop + 8 oz between us, & plan to only have this on strength training days. We both get a decent amount of protein throughout the day, and also have a little snack after the shake, such as 1 tbsp peanut butter with Trader Joes Multi-Grain Crackers and half an apple. That adds another 6 protein, so we have a total of 15-17 protein with everything, depending on portions. I am not very knowledgable when it comes to nutrition, but recently I have been improving immensely. I have noticed since I added a lot more protein to my diet (steamed chicken mostly), my body feels MUCH better and I believe protein is the reason I am recovering faster. I am still at the beginning of my exercise routine, but I do push myself further as things get easier. I have lost 18.5 pounds in nearly two months, based off changes in diet & exercising for 45 minutes to 1 hour 5-6 days per week. Im hoping adding strength training & this protein powder will help me build some more muscle and further aid in getting healthier. I recently read a recipe for protein powder (you will need a blender) that claims to taste a bit like a Creamsicle. The recipe is as follows: - 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder (since Natural is slightly Vanilla flavored, this might be fine- if not, Id imagine a touch of Vanilla extract would do the trick) - 1 Grapefruit (peeled) - A few ice cubes Blend and enjoy! I hope to try this out this weekend. If its awful, Ill come back to edit that. Id like to note that Grapefruit is very famous for its fat burning abilities (whether true or not), but check with your Doctor before having Grapefruit if you are taking Prescription medications- apparently it can be very dangerous & life threatening with certain pills. *Update: I hated the first recipe, but my husband enjoyed it. My favorite recipe uses Trader Joes frozen berry medley (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries). Recipe as follows: - 1 scoop Natural protein powder - 1 cup Vanilla almond milk - 3/4 cup Trader Joes Berry Medley Blend & enjoy!
