Works great cannot tell it was a replacement.

Was a great replacement and seems to be working well.

Up front I will say that this was my first repair. That being said I have 9+ years of engineering education and do many projects. The screen was connected properly. It was positioned and placed down properly. But the alignment must be slightly off as the digitizer screen will only work on the perimeter and across the middle. There are dead zones going across the upper third and lower third of the screen. The old screen was removed and cleaned thoroughly for a good attachment. So either the tolerance of error for position the screen is that exact or my skills were subpar. So it is impossible to say so I have it 3 stars.

My fault for not making sure it works before glueing it. The screen only works on certain areas and I have to turn my iPad upside down to use the keypad. I can’t return it because it’ll break when I take it off

Most would be better off taking this in for repair. I think its hit or miss if the screen is going to work or not. The bottom of my screen is unresponsive after install. Edit: I just upgraded review from one to three stars. Amazon sent me a new screen and it works fine...but during installation I peeled off the screen protector as I was about to install the screen and noticed that a section of the double back tape was stuck to the cabling (it came that way from the manufacturer). Those cables are small and I couldnt get the tape off without damaging those cables so I installed it as is. That section of the screen is not sticking to the case now. Overall, its OK and I can always fix that issue if the screen starts to come off (I now have experience and I had also purchased B-7000 glue for the installation which I highly recommend) But as I said before, quality is a hit or miss. Update: After several months the middle of the screen is now unresponsive. I recommend paying for a high-quality screen.

Difficult project, not for most DIYers without prior experience. Does not come with adhesive or any instructions

I went thru 2.5 hours taking my cracked screen apart. Finally i get to the end and pull the plastic from the top off and what happens? The screen cracks. Poor quality. No adhesive around home button so now my home button moves and sinks in. To top it off, there is not one single piece of instruction. This was the replacement to my original order because the first was cracked. Unbelievable.

It was perfect for my iPad. I’d rate this as an intermediate repair job. I’ve done a few phone, tablet, and laptop home repairs before, but am no pro. This was a fairly straightforward fix. I was able to do the complete digitizer swap with the provided tools plus a razor blade, blow dry, and a little glue.
