This product worked very well and I would buy for them again with no problem at all. The only thing that needs to be better is the adhesive

I was able to replace my cracked screen for about 40$ instead of the 250$ a repair shop was going to charge me.

Ended up not adhering correctly and after several attemps the digitizer ended up getting damaged. Now I need a new ipad.

Difficult project, not for most DIYers without prior experience. Does not come with adhesive or any instructions

Up front I will say that this was my first repair. That being said I have 9+ years of engineering education and do many projects. The screen was connected properly. It was positioned and placed down properly. But the alignment must be slightly off as the digitizer screen will only work on the perimeter and across the middle. There are dead zones going across the upper third and lower third of the screen. The old screen was removed and cleaned thoroughly for a good attachment. So either the tolerance of error for position the screen is that exact or my skills were subpar. So it is impossible to say so I have it 3 stars.

The screen and tools were great. It was the correct screen for the iPad model we specified. However, there were no instructions included in the package. No worries, we thought. There are plenty of YouTube videos. That is true, but locating the correct video instructions with a YouTube search is not easy. We found two that said the connectors are on the left side. On our iPad they are on the right side, which led us to damage the home button connector ribbon. That isn’t part of this kit. How can there be no instructions?!? As an Amazon Prime supplier, the vendor accepted our return and refunded the cost. They deserve credit for that service. The replacement process isn’t too bad. Removing the old screen is scary and messy. Once that is off, the remainder is easy. Be careful and take your time. Use plenty of heat to soften the original adhesive. Wear gloves so as to not burn your fingers. Consider screen replacements that include the home button and camera brackets. This kit does not.

Had a dead spot in middle of new digitizer. Kit was less then helpful didnt work on all screws

I like the screen. The quality is good

Works great cannot tell it was a replacement.
