This has actually helped our a lot. It’s no frills, and I would add a few features, but it works. Find your midpoint, then line up the sliders, mark the points, install hardware,and then hang your item.

My husband has an old wooden frame level that is so heavy it’s awkward to use. This one is light weight and very nice.

Simply awesome solution to hanging it straight

I love how simple it makes hanging a picture on a wall. The markers keep it so simple a child could hang a picture. I like how it takes the guesswork and transfering measured marks which leave room for error. It is by far the best level for this application. Even easier than the laser level that I have.

Outstanding quality

The item is not as heavy as exspected and was damaged in shipping due to the way it was packed. This item has special shipping instructions requesting that it is to be the only item in the box. Unfortunatley the instructions were not followed by seller. I dont know if I can make the item work correctley in the condition its in. I may return it soon!

Ive resisted buying frames and shelves requiring two hangers as it is a hassle. No more, this is the answer for all those items that require two wall fasteners. I learned about this product from a friend and bought one as soon as I needed one. The level has some handy sticky points so you can hold the level with one hand to mark your wall. There are a lot of gimmicks out there for hanging frames, but this is no gimmick. This product was worth every penny. Very well made too, something you would expect from a high end hardware store.

I find this very useful, but the tool has limitations. first, the sliding locators are too easily moved. They need to more tightly fit so that once you place them, they stay put. Having the built in level is brilliant, of course. Silly me, I didnt stop to consider this tool really only works well when you are hanging items in a large wall space. The very length of the level (3 ft) prevents you from being able to use it on partial walls or recesses. Lesson learned. I still find it helpful in large wall spaces. B&D - you need some improvements to make this a 5 star tool. 1. Tighter fitting locators (as mentioned before). A smaller overall length with the ability to expand would be ideal because then it would be applicable in many more situations.
