This item is necessary for water beds. If you dont use it the water will have an odor. This product stops that from happening. I will be purchasing more in the future

Yes, I have a waterbed. I have had it since 1990. I bought it when I lived across the country. I loved it so much, I had it shipped to follow me. Blue Magic is not only an algaecide, but it hinders the creation of air bubbles... and that can be a pain because the air displaces the water and you get a gurgling sound. This stuff has been around since I bought my waterbed, and Ill continue using it as long as they keep making it.

I still have a California~King waterbed in the master BR. Drain at least 4/5s of the H2O out every 1-2 years and put the whole bottle of this stuff in there after the mattress is full+ roll around for awhile :) ....Keeps the moldy crap out + helps condition the inside mattress surface. I believe it also helps to keep the PH in check.
