> 3 daySmells nice. Just setup a king sized soft sided waterbed. Time will tell if it protects the mattress but I imagine it will. Glad to know Im taking care of my new investment.

> 3 dayMindful of a warning from another reviewer here at Amazon.com, I added the bottle slowly as I put more water into my California-king-sized waterbed. Since the smell of the conditioner didnt seem to be permeating the waterbed or the room, I eventually ended up adding the whole bottle. When I first get in bed now I do smell the conditioner a little bit, so perhaps I should have stopped at 6 oz, but I certainly havent experienced the unbearable smell that B. Parcells experienced. Beyond that I cant really tell if the product works or not. I mean Ive had the waterbed for 28 years now, so I suppose that might say something positive about the conditioner. :-)

> 3 dayYes, I have a waterbed. I have had it since 1990. I bought it when I lived across the country. I loved it so much, I had it shipped to follow me. Blue Magic is not only an algaecide, but it hinders the creation of air bubbles... and that can be a pain because the air displaces the water and you get a gurgling sound. This stuff has been around since I bought my waterbed, and Ill continue using it as long as they keep making it.

> 3 dayA bottle of this conditioner in the waterbed once a year is a very low cost way to prolong the life of the mattress since you dont as a rule drain and fill a waterbed very often.
