> 24 hourThis is a nice umbrella. It is clear some work went into the design, and I was drawn in by the claims of meticulous engineering and I dont doubt that the shape and structure are well thought out for an umbrella. But this design is betrayed by poor use of material. The struts (I think correct term is ribs based on some googling) are made of a stiff plastic, which gave me pause when I first opened it. It worked very well for the first few rains. However, recently I opened it to see the plastic hinges near the top of the umbrella ribs had snapped. Considering it just leaned against the wall when it wasnt in use, this was strange. Given the price of this umbrella I am very disappointed in the material quality despite seemingly good design. I really doubt this is a fluke in my umbrella, and I think I will buy umbrellas that do not make load bearing components out of plastic. Maybe Blunt has a line with metal construction?

> 24 hourI have used this umbrella in high wind and have had no issues, it holds up as advertised. The umbrella is the perfect size for one person to use. The quality is great and the push up/pull down operating is simple and great in a storm.

> 24 hourUmbrella looked promising, until I saw that every stretcher was snapped off. The part you use to open it wasnt even connected. Not sure how many of these get sent out like this, but it seems like it is a lot more than it should be. The durability of these umbrellas seem questionable and I wonder if many buyers will change their outlook after a year of use.

> 24 hourVery sturdy mechanism and overall excellent quality but mine came with a defect (it would not stay open) so I returned it. I will be ordering one that retracts so I can easily put the wet umbrella on the driver side car mat.

> 24 hourThis is one of the sturdiest, best manufactured, best quality umbrella I have ever owned. Ive had a bunch of cheapie $12.00 umbrellas, most have been broken from weather, bad rides in the car, etc. The fabric is fully flexible, the metal and plastic parts are sturdy. Fully recommend this.

> 24 hourLa mejor sombrilla que he comprado. Vale la pena la inversión. Lo único es que trae una cintilla con velcro, sería mejor que fuera de broche para que dure por más tiempo.

> 24 hourThis thing is a tank. So we’ll made. Just the right size. Not as big as a golf umbrella, but bigger than a normal size. It’s super sturdy, looks good, and works great.
