Everything was fine. Im waiting for a big rain to see how the umbrella works.

I have three requirements when buying umbrellas: 1) big, 2) has a push button, 3) is reverse folding. This umbrella satisfies all conditions! Summer has started and I was tired of getting soaked in the constant surprise rain, so I bought this to keep in the car. If you’ve ever tried to manually close an umbrella in the rain while trying to get in a car and closing the door at the same time…..you know how messy it can turn out. This is why a push button is so important for instantly opening and closing the umbrella. The reverse folding is also very necessary unless you want to get your surroundings wet after the umbrella’s closed. It’s also super sturdy and definitely a higher quality than the other umbrella I bought from another brand on Amazon (which also satisfies my three requirements and is cheaper but also looks cheaper).

Love the size and the reflectors. But it only collapses half way with the button then you have to push it down which is actually kind of hard to do. Yesterday I was having issues with it opening with the button. It was raining all day and kind of annoying it struggles to open when I need it. Will be looking for a replacement

I thought I was paying good money for high-quality umbrella and it never worked. Unfortunately, I never tested it until I needed it and so I missed the window allowing me to return the product. First, it never opened. I followed the instructions online and found the manual with the instructions but it didnt help. The umbrella would shoot out but not open. Second, I was testing it again the next day and the umbrella completely broke separating from the base when I tried to open the umbrella again. The top project out and nearly hit my coworker. A piece of junk!!! UPDATE! The company read my review and contacted me about my broken umbrella. They felt terrible and offered a full refund or a replacement. I still wanted the umbrella so I opted for the replacement. I received it within a week. I tested it and the umbrella works great. The whole time someone from the company was keeping in contact with me making sure I received the umbrella and asking my opinion on it. Even though my first umbrella was a dud, they back their product and care about the customer. This is why I changed my rating from 1 start to 5. Nothing is perfect all the time, but with a company that cares about their product and the customer, eventually, the customer will be satisfied. Thanks!

So I lost my umbrella and needed a new one. It literally came in the day it was raining and I got it just in time before class. It worked like a charm! It feels super sturdy and durable. The most expensive investment of an umbrella I have ever made, but for the functions it provides and convenient buttons, it was totally worth it. Hopefully it’ll last in the long run. Boston rain wind gusts are rough and I thought I might as well buy this because cheap umbrellas are useless if it just goes inside out anyway. Perfect quick one hand buttons getting inside and going out of buildings. Plus, very portable size! Too bad the downside is the casing for the umbrella becomes worthless after using it because it will no longer fit inside but oh well. If you’re on the fence on investing this much on an umbrella, don’t worry! It’s totally worth it.

There are a ton of options on Amazon when it comes to travel umbrellas. Ultimately, I chose this one primarily because I wanted better quality, canopy size, and strength. I have used it about a dozen times so far, though not in significant wind, but here are my takeaways. Seems reasonably well made, but nothing that stands out other than the rib count and the fact that they use fiberglass in the rib construction. Here are the cons: despite being 210t, the black fabric is thin enough to allow light through which seems odd. It does seemsto shed water quite well due to the teflon coating, well see if it lasts. The handle is hard plastic, I was expecting a rubberized surface with more grip, and its frankly smaller than it should be. The strap is wide nylon webbing, and the opening is not large enough for more than meduim-large size male hands.There is slop in the shaft as you spin the umbrella left and right. May be of no consequence as far as performance, but makes it feel less solid. and finally, the open close action seems unbalanced. The umbrella opens lazily, but snaps closed with great force. The force required to close and cock the mechanism is not insignificant, either. Doesnt really bother me, but it might bother others. I suspect this might be an earlier version of this umbrella, and if so, I would suggest trying the newer one. For the money, not a bad value, but I was expecting to be more impressed.
