It hasnt rained since the umbrella arrived, but I think it will be fine. It fits in the door pocket of my car. It is heavier than other umbrellas Ive had, but I dont see that as a negative; I think it just means sturdier/longer lasting.

When I looked at the umbrella I noticed that it had a lot more spokes than other ones and that made me buy it. I figured it was more sturdy that way. It is. I didnt consider that this also makes it heavier! Rolled up its bigger than less-spoked ones. I take the bus to work (hence the importance of 1-touch open/close), and carry the umbrella in my backpack - and it added a significant extra volume/weight. It has great open & close mechanics, almost a bit too good (it opens almost like a weapon!). It comes with 2 types of sleeves (I use none, because it folds with the wet sides in). I have to give it high marks for its quality & sturdiness - just know that you get something larger & heavier when folded up. If youll have it at home or in your car - I think its perfect!

The umbrella is easy to open, a little hard to close but definitely manageable. It fits in my purses, looks great and I love the reflective rim it has, great for when Im out late & its raining.

I gave these as gifts to a variety of people; and every one of them exclaimed how thoughtful it was, as all of us occasionally needs a good umbrella; and having one in the car as well as near our house door is a good plan. These appear to be very well made, too.

I thought I was paying good money for high-quality umbrella and it never worked. Unfortunately, I never tested it until I needed it and so I missed the window allowing me to return the product. First, it never opened. I followed the instructions online and found the manual with the instructions but it didnt help. The umbrella would shoot out but not open. Second, I was testing it again the next day and the umbrella completely broke separating from the base when I tried to open the umbrella again. The top project out and nearly hit my coworker. A piece of junk!!! UPDATE! The company read my review and contacted me about my broken umbrella. They felt terrible and offered a full refund or a replacement. I still wanted the umbrella so I opted for the replacement. I received it within a week. I tested it and the umbrella works great. The whole time someone from the company was keeping in contact with me making sure I received the umbrella and asking my opinion on it. Even though my first umbrella was a dud, they back their product and care about the customer. This is why I changed my rating from 1 start to 5. Nothing is perfect all the time, but with a company that cares about their product and the customer, eventually, the customer will be satisfied. Thanks!

So quick and easy to open and close. It’s very sturdy feeling. I’ll be buying one for our other car.

For all practical purposes, the Leather Cover is useless. In order to get the umbrella back into the cover, one must spend an excessive amount of time compressing and re-wrapping the umbrella into the smallest possible size (just like it came from the factory). Also included is a cover that seems to be made out of nylon. The nylon cover is also useless for the same reason. The automatic opening and closing is great for entering / exiting a car in the rain. Now the test is to see if it holds up to the wind. At one point, I thought the wind was going to turn it inside out, but I quickly pointed it directly into the wind and it was then ok.

This is a large umbrella with some weight that feels very sturdy. Best of all, I stayed dry throughout my walk in a steady rain fall with a bit of a breeze and ,thanks to a better design, I was still dry after lowering it. It truly contained all the water inside the folded umbrella!
