> 24 hourIts a plug and go. I plugged it in and adjusted the temperature with my flukers light that has an adjustable temperature setting control. I set a thermometer under where my leapord gecko lays at night to hunt crickets. So far so good. Its been on 24/7 for the past couple months. The ceramic heat emitter is still going strong. Just make sure you do put a thermometer below to keep an eye on the temperature. Definitely worth the price.

> 24 hourI was expecting these to last longer than a typical bulb style heat lamp, I can usually get around 3 months out of a bulb. The first one I used out of the pack of two was dead within 2 months. The second one is still going but I will update if it dies early.

> 24 hour03/05/23 I’m updating this review to 5 stars instead of 1. Seller reach out to me and kindly sent me a replacement, not only they sent the replacement, shipping was fast. Thank you for the great customer service. Bough for my sons bearded dragon during winter days. He loves it. His cage is super toast. I have an update: I bough this for my dragon. The first days the bulb work perfectly. However the bulb stopped working lastnight, when I tried to replace it with the extra it makes a sizzling noise not good. It sucks because I really thought this worked. I feel like seller should replace damage bulbs.
