I got these for a brooder box for some new chicks. Last year I had used the red flood light the feed store. With that the chicks were awake all night. So this year I got these instead and am using them in the same light fixture. They work great! I’ve had to raise the light because at first it got up to 110 degrees F at about 10-12 inches. Plenty of heat and the chicks are sleeping so well.

Wish I could give it a lower rating. Arrived torn apart in the box. Box was incredibly low quality and they were packaged haphazardly.

Needed heat for our visiting hedgehog. These lamps were crazy expensive at the pet store. Bought these, they’re great.

The face is smaller than I expected but it gets hot at about 650 degrees for the 100 watt. Yes, ceramic emitters get that hot. I decided to check after it turned a pot holder that I set it on, started to brown. For the money, these are a great value. Considering I payed $40 for one at the pet store. The face was about 4 across compared to these at only 3+. Ive only been running it for about 3 days so I cant speak to the durability. But these generally last a long time.

Works well for our dogs. Our pitbull loves the little house we made her, and put this in. Nice and warm.

One of two didn’t work at all ! Second one works, but not well. Would not recommend!
