Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth Speaker: Small Portable Waterproof Speaker with Microphone, Stone Blue

No major issues with sound for such a small speaker, but whats very annoying is, if you power something up, say a laptop, that has previously connected to this speaker, then even if the speaker is turned off, it will take it upon itself to turn itself on and connect to said laptop, which means you then have to tramp around looking for the speaker and turn it back off. There is no way to prevent this stupid thing from happening. Ive never had another Bluetooth speaker decide to turn itself on like that, and theres nothing in the settings to prevent it. A real annoyance

My husband loves this! He attaches it to his work bibs or safety vest and walks around with it.

Not so great. I expected way better sound quality because it’s a Bose but this item didn’t do well at at.

I got this because I really wanted a ultra portable speaker with good sound, and as far as that goes this little Bose is great. I have a few other portables but nothing that I can throw in a backpack on a hike or bike ride or take outdoors on the go. If that is your purpose then I highly recommend, but if you need something for around the house/back patio Id suggest the Bose Soundlink Color II which has a notably better sound (2 drivers) and is also a pretty durable package with not a huge size. One cool thing about these Bose speakers is using the Bose Connect app to connect to two speakers ... Ive had fun doing that and it sounds good, but not sure how much Ill really use it. But, pretty cool and easy way to have your music inside/outside or in two rooms and control from one device.

Speaker really sounds good. I got it to take to the pool.

Great sound for this price

Owned for over 2 years. I use it at work almost everyday. Several family members have one as well. The only music it has trouble playing is TOOL which is understandable. I get some distortion. I would buy it again.

Superb speaker for it’s size

I loved this speaker - honestly the best one Ive ever owned. Unfortunately, the strap is worthless. The website says The tear-resistant strap is super reliable, so you know it’ll hold just as tight whether it’s the first time or the thousandth. Thats just not true. I used to carry this speaker on my golf bag when Id walk 9 holes. On the 5th outing, I lost it somewhere on the course (I dont play it too loud to respect other golfers). The strap itself is a nice material, but it is FAR from SUPER RELIABLE. Might as well have pinned a $100 bill to my golf bag with a clothespin and would have had the same result. Disappointed.
