Brighton: Training Days Book 2

This is such a sweet and cute story. Knox and Brightons story had me smiling throughout this story. I love a sweet friends to lovers and J.D. Light has do it. The characters are just so cute together. I cant wait for the next story in this series.

Cut short story of two guys that didn’t know they both Wanted each other. Knox and Brighton both work in a gym one lifts and the other does yoga but not find each other sexy and wanting each other. Bright gets thrown out of his home and Knox tells him to go live with him but on one of them days catches Bright doing things to himself on his bed. That leads to some excitement. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Brighton and Knox are just so sweet together. I loved them in the first book, so getting to see more about them in their own book was really exciting. I laughed every time Brighton complained about having to walk, even if it was only 30 feet. I guess if I had my own powerlifter who was willing to let me drape myself all over him, I would too. They had to be a cute picture together.

This was a cute story, with humor and sex, as two friends try not to fall for each other. I liked Brighton and Knox, and I felt entertained by their silliness. Book One had a little more depth, but both are sweet romances. I am curious about the other employees of Training Days and will continue reading this series.

I found myself absolutely charmed by Brighton and Knox. They were introduced briefly in the first book, however that can be read as a standalone read. Their story is quirky and adorable. Both characters are likable and fun to read. I was surprised as to how quickly it was over, but a nice one nonetheless. I am interested to read the next one.

It is exactly what the author proclaimed light, low angst romance to escape into when the world and life is to much. However, I just wanted the aunt to get her comeupence. SPOILER: kinda If your parent die without a will. Then all their property would go by law to their children. In this case Brighton. So she couldnt kick him out of his parents house...he owns it.

Brighton and Knox are so fun and sweet! The yoga instructor and the power lifter amused me greatly in book 1 and their story totally lived up to my hopes! Both characters were a great combination of outgoing but also shy and were so sweet how they didnt think they were good enough for the other! Im loving this lighthearted, funny and sweet series! Sometimes its great to read a book that doesnt have a lot of angst and sadness. This is a great book when you want to smile and have a light heart after the last page! Highly recommend and I cant wait for the next in the series! I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am happy to voluntarily leave my review

I only found J.D.Light recently and I have to say I’m in love with the characters and the world of the Training Days series! Brighton has to move out of the only house he’s ever known, a memory of the life he had before his parents passed. But his best friend, Knox, offers Brighton a place to live and although he’s thrilled, Brighton is worried he’ll drive Knox away by being himself. The story is a wonderful example of finding the perfect person for you and loving, as well as being loved, for being a unique and caring person. Lovely read and I can’t wait for the next book! This is a definite series to read!!

A short, sweet and lovely friends to lovers romance. Its fairly superficial in character development and background but it works considering the length of this story. Definitely worth reading. Its part of a series but can easily be read as a standalone.

As fun as this book is Brighton has also spent most of his life being left behind, ostrasized and hurt. A very sexy friends to lovers romance. A great series.
