Brighton: Training Days Book 2

What a wonderful series. Brighton and Knox are great together. Im surprise they lasted as long as they did before they finally have into the mutual feelings. Knox is a strong man to have this loved climb up on him so that he can carry Brighton around the gym where they both work. I can wait to read Jordons story next. I voluntary review this Advance Readers Copy of this book.

So this book came to me as an arc, and I adored it, positively adored it. JD Light has yet to write a book that I do not love. In this book we have sassy Brighton who is a yoga instructor and probably what we would all think of as a twink. He used to be a dancer but he lost his passion for it and found his passion and yoga. He hates walking but loves yoga. He lives in the home that he grew up in until his evil Auntie takes it away. Down-on-his-luck with nowhere to go he has no options. Enter his powerbuilding friend Knox, who offers to let Brighton lives with him and all of his problems are basically solved. Now Knox is this huge powerbuilding Alpha with the hugest crush on Brighton and just humor him all the time. Because Brighton hates walking he literally piggybacks Brighton around everywhere. After beating around the bush a lot these to finally get together and it is awesome. I love this book it was cute. It was funny. It was sweet. It was fluffy. It was everything I need in a book after Ive had a long stressful day. If I could give it 37 Stars I would but Amazon only allows 5. Highly recommend.

Friends for years, that were always meant to be. When life throws Brighton a curveball his best friend Knox comes to his rescue. But Knox gets more than he bargained for and finally gets his chance to tell his friend how he feels. This was a cute read with some laugh out loud moments. My only one criticism is that I don’t understand why the aunt had the power to make such a big decision which caused such a big change in Brighton’s life, surely his parents should have left it to him and not his aunt. Anyway, other than that, I enjoyed this one and I’m looking forward to Jordan’s book next. 3.5 stars. I voluntarily received an arc of this book.

Brighton and Knoxs relationship intrigued me in the first book, with him carrying Brighton around on his back. This was similar to the first book in that both of them had feelings for the other yet never realized it until an opportunity came up for the truth to come out. Knox was sure someone like him could never land someone as smart, sweet, funny, and beautiful as Brighton, while Brighton thought he was too much of a hot mess for Knox to ever want him. Brighton especially broke my heart with the way hes been tossed aside by people all his life just because of a few quirks they couldnt seem to handle. They couldnt have found anyone more perfect than each other, each giving the other confidence, trust, friendship, and unconditional love. Im excited for Jordan and Langstons story next

What a sweet story I loved Brightons child like mannerisms and just thinking about the way he climbs Knox like a tree makes me laugh. The author portrays these two with some much love and kindness towards each other. This series is amazing and I am looking forward to reading more.

I loved Brighton and Knox! This was a sweet friends to lovers romance. I enjoyed seeing all the crew again and can’t wait for the next book. This a fun, sweet and easy read!! Just wish it was longer!!

Sweet, real and perfect imagination. This story is so perfectly one of JD Lights stories. It is so sweet, but with amazing imagination. The reality part is because Brighton reminds me of my husband with ADHD. Crazy stuff happens but he tries so hard. Not everyone has these experiences with ADHD - I try to find the beauty and positive with it ... I love and accept my hubby so much that this story is an amazing capture of this love.

Loved Brighton and Knoxs story! These two guys were perfect for one another! My only complaint is that it was too short! I would have loved another 100 pages of this one...sweet, fluffy quick read that was well worth the time!

Awwww you guys! Brighton and Knox were so cute. I love how Bright climbs Knox like a tree because he hates walking! I still love all scenes with Jeremy and I cant wait for his story. This book has low angst and was just super sweet. I loved it alot.

Knox Green and Brighton Walker have been friends for two years, and Brighton has been in love with Knox for that whole time. When unforeseen circumstances force them to move in together, they eventually discover the truth about their feelings. Still, given his personal history and track record with past housemates, Brighton is certain that Knox will reject him eventually. Lack of communication was what stopped them getting together before, and it threatens to break them apart after Brighton inadvertently declares his feelings. Thankfully, Knox breaks the cycle by speaking his own truth in order to convince Brighton that he will never abandon or reject him. the guys are cute together, and their banter is warm and amusing...a nice, low-angst story, with the anxiety being all on Brightons side. It would be nice, though, to learn more about these men than we discover in this novella.
