Being a hobbyist rebuilder I am very happy with the results of this hone. Makes up for a mulittude of errors on my behalf in skill. I have a Lisle rigid hone and that works really well for the rough work but this made the final a finish factory finish. Seated perfectly

I bought this because the idiots i work with pretend to be LS experts. So far everything theyve said has been wrong. They said LS engines cylinder walls will be ruined with a ball hone. So I bought the best ball hone which comes sized perfectly for my engine Im building. Makes perfect cross hatchs. Good product.

Have used these for years building subaru motors and yet to have an issue. Great product

Works to re-hone a cylinder by yourself if you dont want or cant take the block to the machine shop, wich, of course, would be the only proper way to rebuild an engine. I had an engine that was seized from rust in one of the cylinders and this hone was able to clean it up enough to put this thing back on the road. it didnt remove the rust pitting but it made it smooth enough so I couldnt feel it with my fingernail.

Wow such and easy tool too use. I honed out some deep scratches and gave it a perfect cross hatch. My bore is was 2.9 and I bout the 31/4.

Its worked great for dressing up the cylinders on the v6 i was working at school. It provided a great crosshatch pattern for the rings to sit to. FYI. Make sure to use a very light weight oil during the honing process.

Ordered a few different grits to take out some gunk and pits from an engine i am working on. You can definitely see the improvements and new life these products can provide under the right circumstances. Sadly for my case the damage to my engine is more than i feel comfortable dealing with, with a hone at least. Will be buying these products in the future for sure!!

worked perfect to deglazed cylinder wall on 2003 Ford Focus 2.0L SPI , also known as the dropped valve seat engine SOHC. Adds a nice crosshatch to cylinder. Directions for use were on end of brush box.

Works very well - easy to use if careful.
