> 3 dayLike many (but not all) of the Burts Bees line, this is a natural product with little to none of the toxic or carcinogenic ingredients found in many cosmetics. For one, there is no added fragrance (as is obvious from the product name). The ingredient fragrance or parfum is often comprised of harmful chemicals, and I worry about these hidden additives even in natural or organic products because the additives are not specifically listed in the ingredients. We therefore try to avoid all products with fragrance or parfum in them. Nonetheless, this soap does have a mild scent to it, but you can tell it is a natural scent derived from the ingredients already in the product, not from some synthetic additive that makes your baby smell like the dreaded makeup department in Macys. Before this order, we were given the BB shampoo and wash with fragrance, but the smell was too strong. This product does a decent job of lathering and foaming, though in this regard natural products are inferior to their chemical-filled competitors. We only need to use a little to bath our 3-week old daughter. The only concern I have is that her scalp looks dry and flaky after washing her hair, though this is a common condition for newborns so it may not be related to the product. I recommend this product.

> 3 dayAmazon was good, no complaints about the arrival or packaging. The complaint is with Chlorox and your QA/QC person. I am a forensic chemist. There are significant differences in color between my old bottle and the new bottle that I received with this order. More, the viscosity between the two lots was also significantly different. This new lot was much less viscous, and produces a lot less suds. Same exact label. I then went to Kroger, bought one off the shelf, and it is was a lot whiter and and viscous than both. Either the Mafia is now hijacking and adulterating Burts Bees product (expensive enough there could be some profit in it), or chlorox has cheapened its product production, or its quality control, or.... That reduction in viscosity and it coming across more watery has me concerned regarding product stability and microbial contamination. If you are going to have a product that watery, then you need to load it up with anti-microbial preservatives. The third issue with this new lot is that the product is much more cloudy that the old lot. Like either the glucosides are precipitating because there is a difference in the pH between the two lots, or that is a bacterial/fungal growth. Needless to say, I am not using this package shipment, and went out and got some Ivory soap for the kids. I buy Burts Bees because I knew the Formulator before it was sold to Chlorox, and as PCP go, this stuff was fairly good. The products coming out of Chloroxs Burts Bees, I was buying them and using them on my Children. It was that good. Whatever jackass executive is letting things slide, get rid of them, and bring back your quality product. Dont screw this brand up! Chlorox - Fix this, and fix this fast! P.S. How about for 2019, you put the ingredients for the fragrance on the label? natural fragrance is marketing BS. Give us honesty and transparency. We are all desperate to trust a product, your products. Earn our trust!

Greater than one weekI prefer the Shea Moisture bath and body for babies. The only thing this has going for it is the fact that it’s tear free.

> 3 dayI use this one for my toddlers hair because her other baby soap irritates her eyes a lot more. This one is very gentle, and smells really good too.

> 3 dayBurts Bees rarely disappoints with their products, and this is another great one. Gets our toddler nice and clean, he doesnt seem to have any issues with the shampoo and it has never caused him any irritation or skin issues. The product also lasts for quite a while, which is nice and helps to offset some of the cost. Took away one star, because I wish that this shampoo would create more suds. It stays relatively flat when used, which makes it hard to judge how much you are using or if you need to apply more/less into the bath or onto your toddler. Other than that though, great product that we have gotten a lot of use out of. Also, while it is MOSTLY fragrance-free, it does still have a noticeable scent to it. Certainly not as fragrance-free as some other products that claim the same thing, but its a fairly plain/non-offensive odor and doesnt smell very chemical, so Im not too worried about it.
